(Reverse Poem)
(Forward and Backward)

Formed by passion and sometimes bold
My poems they come from my soul
It is not my intention to offend
Just opinions and we all have them
I will delete words of hate
Choose your words and we can debate
Just message me and its okay
If you dont like what I say
Do not think your words can harm
I have been around way to long
No need to message and threaten me
I will not change to meet your needs
If you dont like just move on
These poems I write are mine alone
I have a right to feel this way
Though you may not like what I say
Formed by passion and sometimes bold
My poems they come from my soul
It is not my intention to offend
Just opinions and we all have them

(Now Read It Backwards)

**Carl Joseph Roberts
Another poet challenged me to write a reverse poem that can be read both frontward and backword. This is my attempt and it is harder then you may think.
The Smile In My Eyes

I used to have a smile
In my eyes when you walked in
Believing  that the love we shared
Would somehow never end
There was a feeling of excitement
Each time you looked my way
Something touched my inner soul
It grew stronger every day
Then all at once the smile was gone
And my eyes they filled with tears
Inside of me a sadness
That will never disappear
I used to have a smile
In my eyes when you walked in
Believing that the love we shared
Would somehow never end.

I used to have a smile

From the time we are born,
we are flawed,
both through nurture and through nature are we damaged,
but there is something so beautiful,
so fatalistic about that,
and since we are inclined to failure,
the only way we can travel is forward.
Sometimes we move only a few steps at a time,
and more often than not,
we measure improvement by leaps and bounds,
both are progress,
both are important.

We like to think we are rational,
but statistically speaking,
we trust in our instinct more often than not,
even if it is beyond its depth,
we are not rational creatures,
striving for excess is not logical,
for time is money,
and survival is logical,
but we want more,
gathering approval is not efficient,
in many respects animals are much more optimal.

The thing that sets us apart,
the most important thing to note,
is love,
love is not logical,
love is not efficient,
but we value it anyway,
and so in the end,
we are not what we think we are,
we are not animals,
we are illogical,
we are inefficient,
and we are healing,
healing from the day we are born,
born with a frail disposition,
we are human,
and we are slowly mending.

Auss
It's the way you talk
The way you walk
Its the way you are around me

Your smile makes me warm and fuzzy
Your laugh makes me dizzy
Its just the way you are around me

Trying to cuddle closer
Trying to hug me tighter
Its just how you are

The longest good-byes
The twinkle in your eyes
Its the way you are around me

I love you with all my heart
And you love me with yours
Its just the way we are

Marian
Right before the thunderstorm
Clouds of grey line the sky
The breezes stir even a little
And rustle through the tall, tall pines
Leaves are scattered on the ground
The scent of rain fills the air
The stifling hot summer day
All of a sudden cools off
The wind picks up
And the sky is black with rage
Green leaves and twigs and small branches
Are flying through the air
Lightening flashes vibrantly
And thunder follows right behind with a crash
That ear splitting "boom" makes me jump and cringe
Rain suddenly pours from the heavens
And it roars upon the roof
Raindrops wash the porch
Of any dust or summer dirt
The ground tries its best to drink the rain
Yet still leaves puddles all around
The sun shines and then fades again
And the sky turns blackish-bluer still
Until that familiar sound of thunder
Startles me and makes me frightened
Thunderstorms are dark, yet lovely
And scary, yet beautiful
I guess I like thunderstorms
But just am afraid of them

A poem I wrote a few days ago and found again last night in my notebook!!! (:
I thought and hoped you might enjoy it!! (: ~~~~<3
If you haven't noticed
our generation is failing
Our earth is dying
Doesn't any body understand?
Its all a reflection of us
what the earth feels we will feel
Empty
without true love
the sun is lonely
it burns what drops by
Even our earth turns away from it
what a sad existence for something that gives so much
its warmth holds us up
and we work away its light
and only come out
when the moon shadows the night
women
don't compete
men
don't back away
take what is yours darling
you'll never get another shot
fix me
fix you
please do
lend a hand
be a friend

Love
I don't get the word
its a word to disguise our pain
pain as pleasure
even on entrance
a trick of cancer
*******
risking death
the end of the ******
love may sew temporary wounds
but we are chronic

The belief is free love
in sexuality freedom
its only a myth
because of our duality
one side suffers
as one side grows to yield
one side grows to grow
eruption in the psyche
and the shamans and heroes are gone
our women are now men
and are men are now women
Visions of our future come to me
although, we are better speakers
than we are listeners
so
would
could
one soul make a difference
I could go on forever
but I will someday die
and when I returned to the earth
I expected a lot of change
but I only saw my hard work
twisted by the power people
