And what an awful feeling it is
to be homesick
In your own home.
Marry me,carry me over the
threshold.
Be bold, be strong,be true and I will ask if you will,
will you answer,
'I do'.

The air traffic controllers had gone out on strike
we arrived at the airport
but sadly no flight,
but it's sure to not spoil our honeymoon night,
and tomorrow
we might go to Bognor.
In her eyes

all
I have to be

Within our cosmic insignificance,
I find solace beyond shame.
Embracing my paltry value,
Accepting my humble name.

Do galaxies bother in human affair?
Have they halted the scourge
Or answered your prayer?

Indebted not to the appreciable stars,
Negligible dust in their golden eyes.
Existing above our earthen scars,
They see not your flaws, they hear not your lies.
Sometimes I wonder

How it would feel

To wake up each morning

To your smiling face

Looking back at mine

To spend 30 years straight

Looking at the same two eyes

Or how it would feel

To see your arm

Draped over my side

And watch as the backdrop

Changed from time to time

Behind your soft expression.

How would it feel

To travel the world

And have the only constant thing

Left in my life be

The way you looked each morning

When you whisper

"Good morning, I love you" ?

As seasons changed

And leaves became crisper

Time would stretch

While we both yawned

On those early mornings

Before the break of new dawn.

I wonder how it would feel

To spend an eternity with you.

"I love you"
is stuck
behind my
sternum,
lodged there for so
long now that I'm
afraid the words
may have lost
their
meaning.

And So The Wind Came!

Clouds amassed in morning sky.
Grey and dancing.
Breeze fresh.
Blowing as the winds of change
Legions, brimming full with rain.
Appearing as sentinels.
Protecting the concealed sun.

Matinee brings with it the weather.
Acting out her violent scenes.
And so the wind came.
Lashing of legs tied in her bite.
A thrashing inferno that's burning with pain.
So stealthily the rain it came.

Let not Saint Antonio visit.
The saint of fellows lost.
May the blast not purge us in it's wild whip.
Let the wind not bring amass of rain.
Dispatch not floods our way.
Let the hurricane play and bay.
Her heart's content.
As wild hungry hound.

Barometer pointer swivels.
Storm it shrieks.
Melee over land.
Let Heaven guard the seas.
May the sea control her swell.
Keep all safe and well!
