There are moments in life
Where you remove your mask
Cry and have emotions

It’s not a sign of weakness
It’s for those who try and be strong

Don’t hide behind the facade you create
    Breakdown

Hold a penny tight in your palm
Close your eyes and make a wish
As you open your eyes
Release the penny and your dreams
In slow motion the penny flies
Down the wishing well
Where all your wishes will lie
Dropping in water
Making a splash
As the droplets of water fly up in the air
Your wishes will be heard for your stories next tale...

Driving your car without a care in the world
Having fun with friends filled with
laughter and joy
Not a care in the world or fear in your eyes
When out of nowhere a car slams into your drivers side
What do you feel or think in that moment
As the car is flipping into the air
Screaming and scared you yell “are you ok over there?”
It all happened so fast and the car comes to a stop
Glass and blood everywhere
Can’t move, I am now stuck
Is this the end for me and my friend
We were just having fun as we were struck near our front end
What are my thoughts, I can’t form a lot
My friend is not moving, what chance do I got?
If this is my time I thank God for what he gave me
Even though I won’t fulfill my dreams

Rescue crews come to help us out
I’m screaming in pain all I can do is shout
I hear from across the car “it’s a DOA”
My friend is now gone..
I have no words to say
I will carry this guilt for the rest of my life
Even though it wasn’t my fault, she’s gone, it’s just not right

The person who hit us was drunk out of their minds
Now I’m left without a friend crying tears from my eyes
I’m sorry we were in the wrong place at the wrong time
Your forever my friend
I’m sorry you lost your life....

                                                    Gender fluid
Does it really even matter?
                                 Are you happy?
                Do you love yourself?
Do you love your partner?
        
             YES!!!!
Then who the hell cares!
Embrace yourself, love yourself, be yourself!
I feel it’s beautiful to see everyone happy, regardless of your “label”
Stop labeling everyone and LOVE everyone
Even if it’s not “who you are”
Let everyone be happy and live their life...

Sunsets at the end of the day
The super moon rises breaking the way
Heavy fog rolls in through the night
Upon the wet, frosted streets looking scary with fright
As dawn starts to break the fog tries to lift
While the frosted tree limbs and streets start to drift
The cold brisk air hitting your soul like a ton of bricks
Playing games with your head like a magic trick
Feeling encased surrounded by something not tangible
Having that overwhelming feeling like a child in the past
Who never got the chance to experience the beauty of this world
Moving along so mysteriously fast...

What is truth?
Is truth something we have learned?
Something we have been taught?
Is truth what we believe?
What is written down in a book that we follow?
Just because it’s written down does not mean it’s  100% the truth... you don’t know...
Were you there when it happened?
Did you witness it?
Everything comes by interpretation regardless of the actual truth..
It’s like whisper down the alley....
One truth is told (so to speak) yet by the 4th person the whole meaning isn’t what it started out to be...
Truth be told... my writings comes from the heart
Regardless of real or fiction based....
If my work touches one persons heart... my job here is done....

Invisible pain of depression is real
Always flying high without any control of what I actually feel
Don’t know which way is up or if I’m progressing ahead
I’m in a fog, glistening mist of rain as I pull the cover over my head laying in bed
It feels like a tornado is ripping through my brain
Causing so much destruction and chaos, causing so much pain
To have this guilt I carry with me everyday
Trying to control my emotions and feelings in any way
One minute (happy)
One minute (sad)
One minute (angry)
One minute (numb)
Have I succumbed my weaknesses
Have I given it all up
Should I just quit while I’m ahead
Or should I make a stand and rise above
This doesn’t define me or who I strive to be
This is ME
Its who God intended me to be
I live with my heart on my sleeve
I love everyone unconditionally
I am brave
I am loved
I am damaged
             I am Depression
