If you don’t dare to challenge yourself
You can not take a step forward in your plans

In my dreams
All I saw was a phone
I picked it up and called “Home”
On the other line was a person I miss
It was just pure and utter bliss
To hear your voice
Have a conversation with you
Is exactly what I needed
Especially when I was feeling blue
In that moment
It felt so real
Knowing your there
When I need you the most
Who knew a simple telephone
Could make your day
When the person on the other line
Is simply to far away....

Baby steps is all it takes
To make you become aware
Of some of your faults and mistakes
Look further into the bigger picture
Like a flashlight glowing it’s rays
The smaller the focus, the less likely of seeing the bigger picture and understanding
But
When you zoom out the light and capture more of the beauty
You will be more inclined to more of what you were actually missing...

The feeling of loneliness
Of a broken heart
Since now we are apart
Isn’t getting any easier
But the love you gave us
Is stronger then the pain we are feeling
Trying to be brave
Without you here
Has left us heartbroken
Drowning in our tears
We miss you more
With each passing day
But just remembering
All the memories and love we have

Picking stars from the night sky

We all hide behind our computer screens or phone screens
But yet we come here everyday

To truly understand and get to know a writer (without ever meeting)

Understand their life
Get on a personal level with them

I, personally, hope I can inspire at least one person through my writings
As others who write do for me

For then, I have done something to help guide another or get through a problem or make them feel happy and good about themselves

Waking up to a dark and bitter cold morning

The smell of fresh brewed hot coffee is in the air

Ohhhh smell the possibilities of the day ahead

Warming your soul as you embark on your day

Just like a living tree
It will shed the negative, unwanted dead leaves
Only the strong branches of our lives will survive
The others will chip off and eventually break with no will to survive

In all the confusion we face today
Should I stand up and speak or just sit quietly and pray
We shake the snow globe of life as we call it
As we watch the flakes fall gently back in place
Never landing in the same spot again
Will the path I lead now be to a new beginnings end?
I'll stand in the background and watch the pieces fall
In the end I'll be the bigger person after all

Let’***** the rewind button
Turn back the time but
That wouldn’t solve anything
Except reopen the wounds
Of the hurt you endured
In the past and rehash those memories that should get buried
Leave that hurt and pain
Blown away in the deep past....
