We had a conversation
While at a dance event
You were not happy
How things have turned out
I said to you..
“I want to choreograph a dance in honor of the three of you”
To the song called “Hero” to express my love and gratitude
You started to tear up when I said this to you
The studio isn’t what it used to be
It used to be our home
You looked at me and said “ if we could go back in time, handed you the studio, would things be different?”
My home was the dance studio
Where I grew up and learned to dance
I was there practicing at every chance
Oh, did I mention that this was a dream?
A dream where my former dance teacher
Came through to me
It felt so real, like you were really there
Telling me how you feel and still care
Since the three of you left this world
A piece of my heart went to heaven
Leaving my heart broken apart
The studio just isn’t the same
In the hands of a former student
I will not speak ill of anyone
But what have you done
With our place that we called home?
What does this mean
That you came into my dream,
At such a random time in my life
Can I go back to sleep
To talk about more things so deep
To me, this shows me
That you all know what’s going on
Down here on earth
From Heaven above.....
My former dance teacher who was murdered back in 2002 in West Palm beach Florida, came through to me in my dream last night. We talked for hours about what the dance studio is turning into since her as well as her mom and gramdmother( also who ran the studio) have also passed.
I’m not sure what this dream meant but I’m taking it as “they know exactly what is going on”
It doesn’t matter exactly what it meant because I got to see her and hear her voice and it felt so real.
