All we need is to have strength and hope

This situation is tough and unbearable at times
But we will all get through this and regain normalcy in our lives

Staying at home during this time is hard as if you feel you can’t do anything and have boundaries
Working as essential workers during this time is hard as your work days becomes more stressful, overwhelming and mentally and emotionally draining

Those who want to get back to work and those who want a break...
It’s not an easy hurdle to jump as both sides are no easy task whatsoever
All we need to have is respect for EVERYONE, essential workers and those who are “stuck” at home
Everyone is in the same boat so to speak and we are all trying to stay afloat in one way or another
Hopefully, soon, life will start to go back to “ normal living” but for now we wait and continue on this path
Respect And love is what we all need to show during these uncertain times
Letting us all heal and restart our lives, in due time....

On this Easter Sunday....
....The churches maybe closed and empty....
But God is always open and listening no matter where you may be.....

Today we celebrate Easter a little differently
Most, if not all of us, not surrounded by family
Our homes and dinner tables are “empty” and “quiet “
It all seems so strange, you can’t deny it
But one thing remains
That we can all stop and pray
For peace and healing for everyone today
On this Easter Sunday, just as he resurrected for us, may we all rise above this uneasy feeling, so that we may all begin to have proper healing...

May today bring you comfort and love forthcoming with your friends and family to reunite soon, someday...

Even through the tiniest and darkest of spaces...
....there is always a glimmer of hope and light to be seen...

If there ever comes a time, where in the darkness you need to find light, just look up to the sky, and to your surprise, a vibrant rainbow will appear, giving you comfort that all will soon be alright...

We will rise again from all this pain
All our anxiety will soon fade away
We may all feel like we’re deep in a hole
But, when we are reunited again, our hearts will fill full

To step outside to get some fresh air

The days go by as your counting time
It feels like it’s just flying by or is time standing still
Is this all a drill?

Is there a magic pill to release this pain before we all go insane or is it just to late ?
Can we wrong our mistakes and grow from this and get back to happiness
Not taking for granted the times we shared and no longer be scared
Removing this bubble we all live within getting back to where we left off and try to begin, again
Take a step back and be grateful for life even if it’s just through a window pane
At least we see you and that’s keeping us sane
For now, this is the new norm as we all wait for this passing storm
To heed away and get back to our daily lives
Where we once left off, this virus, may be some of our demise
Hiding the mask of things we didn’t want to show
But just so you know

Wishing I could just sit outside, enjoy the sun and fresh air, not having a worry or care but unfortunately, the weather is gloomy and the air is cold, but listening to the birds sing,even for a couple minutes, allows myself to recharge, letting the fear and doubt go...

It’s 6:30 am when I step outside to a dark and fog filled sky
In the distance I hear a cardinal singing away happy as can be
Something came over me
As there was no other noise but myself and the calming singing of the cardinal
I stood there for a moment and took it all in
As chaotic as the world is right now, in that moment, I felt safe and sound
Take this time to reflect on the little things that we have let go of during this time
It may have been nothing but to me I felt the cardinal was singing directly to me
Feeling the calmness and stress become a relief.....

Let’s all take this time of
Isolation
Hibernation
Just like a caterpillar in its cocoon
Relax
Sleep
Breath
Learn

That I’m the end
A beautiful butterfly will emerge
Seeing the world in a different light
Overcoming all this freight
Flying freely with delight
Leaving the past behind
Allowing you to find
The good in all, that right now is blind
Giving us time to unwind
This all too shall pass in due time

It’s like a silent and invisible tornado reeking havoc without causing destruction to properties yet diminishing the economy and putting everyone in panic.....
This storm too, shall pass soon...
