She picks up the broken pieces, scattered all around at her feet
The failures
The hurt
The pain
The deceit
Collecting them one by one overtime
Slowly building another mountain to climb
Piece by piece
Layer by layer
Collecting those fragmented bits of the past
Only to build something stronger than the last
You will still feel hurt
You may still fail
Pain will always be there
But if you rebuild what was once crumbling down
You will, once again, walk upon solid ground

You built up the wall that stands in your way
Trying to find a crack to escape
Broken down pieces
Fragments all around you
Yet the walls are still standing, your stuck like glue
You are the one who gets in the way
Nobody else who can take that blame
But you built this wall like a cone of shame
Hiding in plain sight is the name of the game

Kicking and screaming in the depths of your mind
Silence is screeching within your sense of time
Kicked back to reality with the tears you still cry
Over and over this nightmare lives out in my mind
But looks there’s a hammer, I call it my heart
Break down these walls
Tear them apart
I found the way out of this invisible box
Wish we could turn back the hands on the clock

I stood in my own way
I broke down these walls
I may be broken but it didn’t break me enough
I’m who I am from all I’ve been through
Trusting my instincts and holding my heart

You built up the wall that stands in your way
Trying to find a crack to escape
Broken down pieces
Fragments all around you
Yet the walls are still standing…


Yet, I found a way out…..

In the depths of the journey casting a shadow over the sky as the wind moves through the night and into the morning sunrise; shadows are still pictures from within the minds eyes holding onto wisdom and insight of our own true life

Past the horizon in the distance, the only sight to be seen, the whispering of nature’s light glistening on the water from the sunbeams…

One dream can spark the inspiration towards the visions you see in your future.

She is fire
But she’s also like rain
Fierce and electric
Calm and heavy
Unaware of her powers
Sudden downpours engage
Rejuvenating the fire
That once was extinguished away

Believe in yourself
Let fear melt away
Troubleshoot the doubts
That get in the way
Follow the process
Trusting yourself
It all will turn out

The past me is a bit haunting
Struggling to believe that I could ever be
Always hitting the wall, afraid to fall, yet always failing for my dreams to come true at all
Pretending that I’m strong enough
Brave enough to not feel the pain
Yet, the past is haunting me a bit
Like a broken,  damaged frame
Unable to hold the still picture in my mind
Freezing up like old times
Black and white
Snowy and pixelated with fear
The past me is a bit haunting
Struggling to ever believe that someone like me would ever be
But, here I am
Stronger than I ever was before
Stomping down all the doors of the past me…

I love you always
To the moon and beyond
Across the stars
Sliding down a rainbow and
Back into my heart

Beauty lies within the heart and soul of your own dreams that are filled with the same energy that radiates through you giving light to follow your true destiny…

Touching his hand I got a shock
I look at him and said
“You send shockwaves to my heart”
He then replied
“The shockwaves we’re always there”
I looked into his eyes and said
“ But baby, your the one that made them spark, and continue to ignite my shockwaves in my heart “

Fierce and fragile in the same breath as if your life was caught in a storm of fire and tears yet rising from the depths of your own heart to soar into the oblivion of your magical soul’s energy

Trust in yourself and you will see, as clear as the reflection staring back at me
Into the waters so deep and blue
Like the tears falling from your eyes, sad but true
Creating a puddle in which you stand
Trusting in yourself that your are strong enough to withstand the drowning feeling of love at your feet

Rain doesn’t make everything soft
So why do my tears

into a puddle

Silent wardrobe hanging from the racks in your closet
Different outfits for each experiences in your life
Some hanging by a thread, wanting to toss away, yet can’t seem to part with them in someway
If they could talk, they’d have a lot to say
Hanging emotions tucked away
Yet the only thing you wear constantly, everyday, is the mask to hide your face
A continuous battle of emotionless energy to hide the pain
Silent wardrobe,  definitely is love to hate

Scattered words turn into beautiful creations within the soul that can not always speak for itself

Fragmented existence
Broken, scattered pieces, clear as glass
Like grains of sand
Slipping through the cracks
Holding onto something that you can never get back
The past is in the past, otherwise suffocating you
Yet, instantly can be transported back, in time
Like broken hands on the clock stuck in constant  rewind
Spiraling down the unsteady staircase
Falling completely into a hypnotic state
Snapped back to reality, difference of perspective staring you in the face

There is no spotlight needed
When hiding behind your words or stories you write
Gathering your timeless words of coexistence that translates into your minds eye
Yet, never being noticed, that maybe you really are in the spotlight…

The art of speaking, is very challenging
Yet the art of writing, flows like running waters

Shadows are a beautiful thing even though it’s dark, but all shadows have light that passes through to guide and help us along the way.

Then other toxic shadows, throw shade casting a dismal darkness that prevents you from moving forward or growing in one’s journey.

It’s an invisible string, holding you captive because deep down you believe that said shadow is suppose to help and love you, yet it’s drowning you within your tears and covering your light.

When you can’t put into words
That feeling of love

“ Heaven is far, but I am not, always watching over you, protecting you on the spot. Every day and every night I pray for you and love you so much. Don’t ever be scared, for I am there, every step you take. I miss you more with each passing day but the view from up here is magical in every way, especially since I get to watch over you all the time, I love you always my precious family of mine”

Soft and dainty, looking like grace

Swimming within the tears that haven’t yet hit your face….

We handcraft our love  with emotion, hard work and existence

Building a foundation or sacred space

Sometimes cracks appear or the foundation starts to crumble

Picking up the fragmented pieces like a scattered puzzle yet to be finished

Even though it takes time and perseverance, you always manage to rise up

Building your space stronger then you ever could imagine
