As the crystal-clear freshwater
trickles steadily off the glazy rocks,

The sound replenishes my soul
with vitality - on my heart,
serenity, it knocks.

As the dying rusty leaves
float along
the heavenly stream,

My peace-filled mind
goes off into
a beautiful, sweet daydream.

I ponder over recollections
of all the precious magical moments
that together
we have both shared
over the years,

All of the memories we have made -
all of the beautiful words he spoke,
they were all remedies,
conquering all of my fears.

The struggles and the challenges,
together, we took them all on,

Hope, love and faith
were the tools we both used,
hand-in-hand, to rid them
and have them all vanish and be
forever gone.

As the birds flutter in the branches
of the giant trees above my head,

In my mind,
like a delicate melody,
I hear all of the beautiful words
he has said to me
over the course of our lives together,
as far back as the day we met -
before we wed.

Like the crystal-clear freshwater
rushing down the heavenly stream,

All of the amazing moments
and the not forgotten good times
flood my beautiful sweet daydream.

And once again,
revitalized by the serenity
of the heavenly peaceful creek,
the incredible amount of love
I feel for him increases
once more,

My undying love
is born again,
I am to be in love
with my beautiful man
infinitely - forevermore.

When I was fifteen,
I first felt the butterfly
somersaulting inside,
under a summer sun of July
a fleeting moment
took chance on an empty school hallway
staring at his dark brown eyes
there was a flicker that created power
in a millisecond
That light became a balance
to a thing we called 'relationship'
In that age, the light turned into a glint
until there is nothing else to see
we were blind

When I was twenty,
my mind was abuzz
from the humming of
lectures and piles of paper in my desk
I am dosed by the entice of caffeine
and would sometimes love to
go further until I get to the end of the world
but I'm tired of going in circles
it is round

When I looked back from what I have
started they said I've changed
My reflection exhibits a portrait of bleak
I listened to the whisper,
never trusted the reverie in my head
how could something fragile become robust?
how does a person survive from a fall?
how do you keep pushing when gravity's winning?

I just see how humans could be so much more.

Gidgette
She counted time not,
In hours or even days
But in stollen moments
Glances, caught
From loving eyes
Graceful touches,
Deemed "sins"
The wife of a beast,
Daughter of a merchant
She, the sold wares
Counting not, the hours of absense
But time gauged in wishes,
Her scarlet letter, blackened
Worn over her breast
Scars hidden,
Beneath fine clothes
She wears the jewels given her,
To blind onlookers
To the cloaking darkness,
That covers her soul
