when your heart is in the right place
you can silently hum your way through
and in the depths of your personhood
poetry is written
not in words, but the touches of the Uni-verse
as she plays music across your senses
your soul experiences her song
and something of this overwhelming generosity
you will be able to share and express in poetry.

I screamed
I cried
I cut

no one seemed to care

I bleed
and bleed
and ran out of breath
