Thank you for breaking me
And making me
A better me

Thank you for hurting me
And making me
A stronger me

Thank you for shooting me
And making me
Bulletproof

Thank you for burning me
And making me
Fireproof
This is an older poem. Things have changed since then. But this poem is highly relative to a lot of people and I liked it well enough so I posted it.
When people talk of beauty- I only picture your face
you think i'm wrong and should be put into place

When I tell you how perfect you are
you just list every imperfection and scar
but you'll never change my mind
wherever you go i'll follow behind
if you don't want me just ask me to leave
I will not be happy without you i grieve
I crave your touch when i'm alone
i'll still love you when we're grown
because i fell for your soul
your looks just a bonus making the whole
i love every inch of you
believe me i do

you're perfect in my eyes
even after all the lies
Society doth draw a line
status of people to define
learned and rich welcomed with delight
the poor despised in sight
Sucess bringforth affection and fame
the failed left alone to bear the blame
doth a childs heart draw a status line
color and creed in his heart fine
clothed in rags human not a criminal
dressed sauve human deeds animal
lines drawn an image to uphold
lines drawn dreams are sold
doth society breaketh the chain
status quo societys gain humanitys pain
Death toll on the rise
pain and suffering none too wise
Tragedy in unexpected moment
disaster in life a torment
can the heart fanthom life
Doth life answer worldly strife
Past a history to write
future a clueless path to light

— The End —
