I saw her on Halloween
She was wearing Snow White
It makes her look like a teen
She's just full of delight
She's looking like a beauty queen.

Her smile was shining
Like the full moonlight
Her mood was charming
In Snow White
It's for Halloween.

I have seen my friend, Willow
In white, black, blue, red and yellow
Snow White made her colorful
And she opened the window
looking for Halloween.

Renee's at her room
Looks like a broom
She's smiling at afternoon
Likes a silver moon
Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween
Enjoy the Halloween Night.

This poem is wounded
Written with bleeding trembling fingers,
creating Choking suffocating imagery
death has never been this painful

This poem is crying
tearing for what's lost never to return

This poem is tragic
stitching Whatever's left of your heart

This poem is a movement
giving voice to the oppressed
fighting for equality and justice
in a very cold world

This poem is your future
Modeling you for success
reminding you
even if it's a world filled with malice
there's still beauty in it

when the language of rain
is in need of
translation.

when the parallel lines
have
crossed.

when observing the time
by the pizza boxes
arching
toward
a ceiling fan.

when pages of
stories are skipped
to the end unread.

rain touches the lonely,
rain is weaving
the hearts
with dreams.

rain colors the lonely
arching in color
touching the sky.

droplets  of water
through your window glass
tapping of comfort
of watering eyes.

in the rain-
darkness,     the sunset
being sheathed i sit and
think of you

the holy
city which is your face
your little cheeks the streets
of smiles

your eyes half-
thrush
half-angel and your drowsy
lips where float flowers of kiss

and
there is the sweet shy pirouette
your hair
and then

your dancesong
soul.     rarely-beloved
a single star is
uttered,and i

think
       of you

I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain,
And it dripped in my head
And flowed into my brain,
And all that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.

I step very softly,
I walk very slow,
I can't do a handstand--
I might overflow,
So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said--
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.

You’re going to find yourself alone.
You will be in a hospital room
Or in the backseat of a car
Or on a park bench
And you will have decided you’re alone.
You will have convinced yourself
That there isn’t anyone in the world
You can trust.
Not her,
not him,
not the clothes on your back,
not the air in your lungs.
You will have made yourself alone.
Again.
And you will pay for it with the same currency
As before.
With the same realization
Of emptiness
As always.
And you will stand up
And declare war on yourself
For the way you have been treated
By no one.
