it was crushed
it was thrown

she kept gathering
the tiny pieces
daily in a jar

away from the public gaze
she kept sewing it
with fiber and tar

her heart is all tattered
the stitches are old
but still shines

the heartless *****
still has the heart
but  no one knows...

this Ever Evading World ?
