Unsuited Suit
Advait Feb 2016
In sooth,
A suit suits me not,
Nor does a suit soothe me a lot.
I am no snoot,
But it makes me feel like a brute.
After a pursuit, I did find out that
a suit is definitely not smooth;
Oh, shoot! It feels like a layer of soot,
Probably like a bag of jute
Without the color of Groot!
I shall no longer hoot about my suit
As I always scoot up to fruitful roots,
But y'see, this poem bears no fruit.
What is that you say? Season 6 is en route?
G'bye, I'm off to watch the Suits.

Life Light
Advait Apr 2016
”Let there be Light,“
He said.
”Let there be Night,“*
Unrecorded,
And never said.
Yet without the night,
Occured it would have not
The birth of light.
Yes young knight,
The night eventuated the light!
So it is in our life,
The night is never averred,
The night is never asked,
But remember young knight,
The crusade of life,
Is like a cosmic void,
Without the night,
The light is never in sight.
Make your light bright,
And carry on,
Carry on with your fight with the night!
"Just kidding, young knight,
Let your anger flow,
Join the dark side." :P

WALL OF LIFE
Advait Apr 2016
She continued to walk on
Towards the light that resonated with hers;
Unrecognised by the world,
A pleasant titter of confidence radiated off her.
As she approached the source of light,
A small light only perceptible
Because of the dominant darkness,
The darkness of shattered hearts and faiths;
There, she realized that there stood a wall,
The wall of life as it was known,
The wall which divided the achievers from the rest
A faintly painted, thinly segregating wall;
She didn't know,
But she followed a unique way,
A brilliant mind with a million world changing thoughts
Ready to project all her thoughts on this wall of life,
A wall too small to accommodate all her thoughts
Thus painting the wall vibrantly with her thoughts,
Making the light around
A dominant sight,
Dominant enough to lift her up
And flung her over to the achievers' side
Now she stood bold,
Recognized by the world
A predominantly large and hurdled world.
Yet with that radiating confidence,
She moved ahead,
Leaping forward with no more feelings of doubt or distress,
But only to motivate her fellow populace,
The ones still on the other side,
To follow their own lights,
And not to be lead astray.
Always follow your passion. Follow it, success will follow. Never do something because you're afraid of doing something else. Aim big, reach the stars.

A Travel Up North
Advait Apr 2016
Experiencing an alien place,
A place where Phoebus' face
Fails to face the winds
That blow with subtracting grace.

A large green field,
Surrounded by white topped peaks
And the green waters that adds on to the greenery
And hits you with the blows of mist and mystery.

The delight of so vibrant a sight,
Soaking you in the atmosphere so light.
The cold, dark, smokey breaths
That you breathe out of your shivering cold
Breathed out with a rather warmed up heart
Giving your life an entirely new start.

And the glacial fed rivers,
The perennial rivers up north
That freeze in the dark winter
To overpower your damp sweaters.

The snowfall and the nightfall,
The contrast of black and white,
Of darkness and brightness,
The soft fall on the hard grounds,
The gentle touch on the roughness,
And you ask yourself,
Is this the real life?
Life it is, indeed.

Your words freeze as you speak,
Your thoughts freeze as you think,
Immerse yourself in the foggy glory!
Weave yourself a new life story!
This poem is about a trip I had to the wonderful land of Kashmir, a state in the northernmost part of India. A land nothing less than a paradise, a life changing travel experience, I'd say.
