MAP
I traced the lines of us on my skin
Each curve; each edge; where we begin
A path we carved; through joy and strife
A map of you; a map of life

You were my compass; my north; my guide
The star I followed; the tide I’d ride
But somewhere along; the course grew strange
Your heart withdrew; the map began to change

Through deserts of doubt; through rivers of pain
I searched for the way; to find us again
Each turn a memory; each mile a scar
I chased your shadow; but you’d gone too far

The mountains we climbed; the valleys we crossed
Now feel like a dream; in a world I’ve lost
Your voice was the landmark; your touch the sign
But you left me adrift; no longer aligned

Still I kept searching; though the ink had blurred
The promises faded; the paths deterred
For even if lost; I clung to the trail
Hoping my faith in the map wouldn’t fail

But maps can deceive; and hearts can betray
Love’s navigation; can lead one astray
I gave you my all; my treasures; my seas
But you let me wander; left me on my knees

Now here I stand; no map in my hand
Learning to walk; to understand
Some paths are lessons; some trails unwind
And the map I need; is the one I design

For love isn’t found in the stars above
Or in the terrain; of a deceitful love
The compass I seek; isn’t tethered to you
It points to myself; to a life that’s true

So I’ll draw new lines; let the old ones fade
Chart a course; from the mess we made
And though you’re a chapter in my cartography
The rest of my story would be written by me
One unruly truth about this life we tread
Where whispers gather when backs are turned instead
is that.. people, family, friends; a familiar tide
Ganging up behind; where shadows hide

They spew their tales; this and that they claim
Calling you reckless; tarnishing your name
Your flaws they tally; your worth they erase
Blind to the battles you silently face

They know not the weight your shoulders have borne
The nights you’ve weathered; weary and worn
Through storms unyielding; you’ve held your own
A fortress of will; though often alone

Seven-tenths of your life; you've poured in the figh
To carve your essence; to chase your light
Yet the world ignores the strength you’ve shown
Focusing only on seeds you’ve not sown.

But let them speak; for their words can't redefine
The man you've built; with courage as sign
Through trials unspoken; your heart has grown
A testament etched in struggles you've known

So walk unshaken; let them chatter away
Their judgments fade; but your truth will stay
For the worth of a man isn't found in their view
It's in the resilience of building you
Yes, I’d love to tell you that I do
And I'd love to make you my boo; without further ado
Through fire and ice; we’ll see it through
A love reborn; both bold and new

Your touch ignites like morning’s hue
A blaze of passion; fierce and due.
No shadow falls where your light grew
The world revolves; yet rests on you.

With every step; my soul imbues
A rhythm synced; to love’s own cues.
The storms may rise; the winds may bruise
But I stand firm; I cannot lose.

Your voice; a symphony that woos
A melody that soothes
In its every sound; my heart pursues
A paradise that love renews

You are my calm; my ocean’s muse
The anchor that my life won’t refuse
Through highs and lows; no way I’ll choose
A path without the love we fuse

The stars above could never outdo
The fire in you... so fierce... so true
You’re rare as dreams that fate construes
A masterpiece in human hues

And if the earth should break in two
I’d face the end with only you
For every vow; I’ll bid anew
Forever bound in love’s review

So yes; I’d love to tell you that I do
For all I am... begins with you.
My heart’s resolve; no force can skew
Eternal love... life’s greatest coup.
I am the architect of words; a verbal alchemist
Weaving rhymes so seamless; they transcend the mist.
Each syllable I sculpt; a diamond refined
A tapestry of thoughts; the rarest you'll find.

I'm the new age sage; a Shakespeare upgrade
A timeless cascade where brilliance is displayed
A wordsmith supreme; with verses tailor-made
Crafting lines so sharp; they never will fade

I breathe life to letters; make the mundane explode
A master of the metaphor; I decode and reload
Each stanza’s a canvas; each rhyme’s a parade
I'm the poet’s renaissance; a legend relayed

Call me the maestro of metaphorical streams
Painting galaxies with phrases; birthing vivid dreams
I don’t just write; I orchestrate the dance
Where letters pirouette; and verses advance

My rhymes? They're symphonies; a lyrical parade
Each line a crescendo; each stanza handmade
From assonance to consonance; I command them all
A linguistic juggernaut; standing ten feet tall.

Wordplay is my kingdom; I reign supreme
Turning mundane musings into a poet’s dream.
A "pen-dulum" of passion swings in my hand
Carving worlds on paper; so vast and grand.

Alliterations align; acrobatics of sound
Echoing brilliance that knows no bounds
Oxymorons meet paradoxes in my prose
Like fire that freezes... or a thorny rose.

I rhyme “time” with “sublime;” “fate” with “elate”
Bending reality until it resonates.
Similes sparkle; metaphors ignite
Illuminating truths hidden in the night.

With enjambments that leap like gazelles on the page
I trap fleeting moments in a golden cage
Quatrains and couplets; free verse or sonnet
No structure can limit the fire I’ve lit upon it

My poetry’s not ink; it’s elixir divine
Distilled from the stars and bottled in line
The cosmos itself seems to pause and bow
To a poet whose craft transcends the "now"

So let the critics come; let their whispers swell
I am a bard with tales no tongue can tell
For in my veins flows the muse’s decree
A master of words; eternally free.
Yes, she says...
She swears by the moon; the stars: the sea
Her love as endless;.... as eternity.
She paints her words... in colors so bold
Promises spun.... like threads of gold

She’d fight the storms; she’d face the night
Trade her shadows for his light...
But when the world catches a glimpse
The truth unfolds... the story limps.

And when you take it out to the open
You see her vows were softly spoken.
She only wants to be adored
To hear sweet words... like "You’re my reward."
Never chose him… oh no, not him
She only wants her cup to brim.

She seeks the warmth; the tender embrace
But not the man... just his grace
She craves a crown; a throne; a scene
To play the queen; not to build the dream
or better still; not with him

And yet.. he stands; so blind... so still
Believing in love, against his will.
Hoping the one who holds his heart
Would heal the cracks; not tear it apart.

But love; my friend... is a fickle game,
A fleeting fire; a whispered name.
And I hope you'd find; the one you'd love
Someone who soars your soul above.
Someone who'd walk; not just be carried
Someone who’d stay; not just get married.

But if you search the skies and the sea
Let me confess; it won’t be she
For she is the shadow; the fleeting muse
The bittersweet note in a heart you’ll lose.
Be humble; but don’t let your spirit be dimmed
Wear pride like a crown when the odds have been skimmed
Be clever; yet know when to play the fool
Break a few rules, but don’t forget the school

Be righteous; but wickedness too has its day
When kindness wanes; let boldness lead the way
Be the shepherd; but sometimes join the flock
Walk with the crowd; yet let your dreams unlock.

Be hopeful; but learn when to let dreams go
Fight for what's right; yet embrace the ebb and flow
Be kind-hearted; but guard your soul’s embrace
Give no room for pretense in life’s vast space.

Be polite; but roar when the world is unkind
Play it cool: but keep a wild heart aligned.
Be wise; but remember, life’s jesters play too
Dance to the beat, and once a while let chaos renew.

Be everything; a sage; a mosaic of the true
Yet in all your layers; remember to be you.
Oh; how long it’s been
Since I wore a grin
Should I let love begin
No; maybe it’s sin
Or love isn’t for me

Oh; I can’t believe...
how heart deceive
With words it weaves..
yet love won’t cleave
Guess that love for real.... ain't meant for me

Oh; how dreams delay
A hope in grey... that fades halfway
I kneel and pray
But love won’t look my way

Oh; how pain persists
A fleeting kiss... that slits the wrists
Each joy resists
Because love won’t come to me

Oh; how time’s a thief
It steals relief... and leaves only grief
A brittle leaf...
that bleeds and bleeds.... and yet won’t let me be

Oh; how scars can sing
Of bitter springs.... and broken things
The joy they bring,...
Proves love’s my enemy

Oh; how truth reveals
The masked appeals... the hollow deals
My fate it seals...
For love’s not meant for me

Oh; how hearts can break
A tender ache... that feels like fake
It’s all a stake
But love won’t set me free

Oh; how I hope one day
These shadows will fade away...
As light breaks through the gray
And love will find way to stay
