you are waiting for love
from someone
who has never noticed
your worth
from the beginning

He loves me, he loves me not
We're meant to be, or so I thought
My heart is broken, the pain is real
I long for peace, from all I feel

I fake a smile, so no one knows
I mimic strength, lest weakness shows
I refuse surrender, I stand and fight
I must succeed, and so I write

The ink it flows, pours from my pen
It heals my heart, and I can breathe again

Minutes into hours, hours into days
The love I held so tightly, starts to fade away
The pain begins to lessen, the tears no longer fall
Seemed misery was forever but it's not that way at all

Those nights you haunt my dreams
Are now few and far between
When memories overtake me, I know I'll be alright
I know now what to do....and so I write

The ink it flows, pours from my pen
It heals my heart and I can breathe again
Yes, I can breathe again.

grief isn't a feeling, it's a neighborhood -
it's where everyone i love still lives, where i stood
on dreary summer nights,
watching the lights
of fireflies dance in the street.
and hopefully the others will be able to meet
the expectations to grow up and move along,
but whether or not they're strong
enough to doesn't matter.
between leaving those godforsaken driveways behind
or staying to ease their troubled minds,
i know they would take the latter,
but it still hurts.
people wonder if i know
the way those brick walls can seal you in,
and i do, but even though
those houses built with tears can be brooding,
you have to understand that they're only alluding
to something better.
together,
i think they can make it.

validity

more than anything i seek
validity as who i will become
because i am still becoming.

in all fairness
i have need to seek further discovery
of this strangeness that is life

and must accept,
for now,
a sort of misunderstanding of my soul's caliber

from those who view me
but even as i accept
i do not assent to constancy in this

i still feel mercurial
maybe it's the coming-of-age they all lament
the loss of kiddish ignorance

but above all
when the waters of my life finally settle
i seek validity in who i am

Each part of self is a
wonderful ever evolving puzzle.
It becomes a tapestry,
as parts of divine form
connect into humanity.

Work your puzzle integrating it with others,  love, joy and compassion.
The end result,
a beautiful masterpiece.

Oh to be the gardeners of our lives.
To implant wisdom where we sow.
To expand like suns rays to anoint.

Oh to cultivate compassion.
To plant seeds in heart that drift.
To water seedlings with dreams divine.

Oh to be landscapers of our paths.
To stand against winds and rain, grounded.
To be our true selves sacred and a gift.

Oh to be Greenkeepers with rainbow thumbs.
To grow love, compassion, and peace.
To be caretakers of earth’s grand garden of light.

Touch the moment with it's unlimited possibilities,
by breathing into the heart.
By trusting in the orchestration of spirit.
By aligning with your authentic self
who is divine and capable of manifesting.
Energies are very strong now as we on earth are being bombarded by energies from the universe. Embrace them and know they are transformational.
