We kinda live here and kinda don't.
Depends on point of view after all.
Is it half full or half empty?
Most of 'em think you did it,
the rest of 'em just don't care.
I was born on death row. I never
belonged where I was and
I was never where I belonged.
I was a square peg in her hole.
I always loved her but never me.

Tell me once more that my faith is blinding,
and I will show you the shadows
that have stayed by my side all these days,
recite to you every word
Fear has whispered in my sleep,
point out every drop of rain, yet

my eyes will still gleam with the dawn I see
breaking behind the clouds.
I am not

looking to

kiss a million girls once.

But to

kiss one girl

A million times.
what a pathetic, frank admission.

a breath in the winter,

that summer would never let you say.

but tell me you love me,

and I'll be okay.

warm tears on a winter day,

certain seasons i can never forget,

but i won't forget May.

carry me, june,

far too scared to see you,

so let me be, i look to the moon.

let me love me,

and I'll let you love you.
Your smile will shine
But not everyone will appreciate it's beams
Your touch will heal
But not all
Because sometimes the shattered shards of the human soul like shattered glass may be better of alone.
All of my first few poems will be part of a remember series.  Just some reminders of certain aspects in life. I know it's negative but I believe that we can never really match each other's energy
