this moment

showed up

just in time

reminding me of

nevermind

holding hands

to guide

the blind

in hopes that

they would find

the nevermind

eluding me

the after thought

of what could be

in full view

of you and me

the nevermind

in all we see
with a little luck
and a few good props
maybe i can squeeze out
one more drop

pull one more line
from my set of rhymes
give it the ole collage try
one last time

from my bag of shtick
swing the poet stick
see if it is
a hit or a miss

without even knowing
where it is going
that's how i'm sowing
most every poem
Life comes in colors
go ahead, feel free to choose one
Though most have a tendency to bleed
into each other they run

While mixing greens with yellows
gives off certain hues
Orange you the slightest bit curious
what reds and yellows will do

Depends on your wave length
to the colors you choose
Whether it be the
red, green, yellow, or blue

With the stirring of emotions
life's paint in a can
As we spread it about
till there's nothing left
Thanks to Akcendrium for the help with my colored blindness!
if i was a baby

just popping out

i'd think that maybe

i'd have my doubts

about where i'm going

not where i'd been

if i was a baby

new to this scene

i would think maybe

this is all a bad dream

all the fussing and fighting

and goings on

if i was a baby

new to this world
I don't fear the demons
Nor the black hounds
I fear all the humans
In the past and the present
And the many more to come.
I am angry, i'm ******
Wished i could live in bliss
Lips i kissed, moments missed
wish to add nothing more, to that list
It hurts,
A constant aching
Sharp, like a thorn in your side,
Casually corroding you carefully made
Walls away.
It's eating me away,
Heavy on my chest,
Pressure on my eyes.
...
I'm not done with hello yet,
So please don't go.
...
Woke up thinking bout you today...

Secret valentine
By we the kings
Her ribs crackled, in the skeleton night.
And I remember my mouth on hers,
where atomic fish hooks attached our lips.
Where there was nothing like kissing
like our God wasn't dead.

She was accused of killing a taxi driver
in the Brazilian underbelly.
Smoking a cigarette, she dropped it on the ground,
spat on it, and crushed it with her bare foot,
saying she fell in love with the way
his sleep-drenched body lay.

And I told her to stay home.
And I told her that they'd find her.
But she didn't stay home.
And they did find her.

Chasing her through the Babylon brush,
insults were thrown and so were balloons of gasoline.
Each pink, yellow, and green vessel floated in the air, as an internal opera heightened.
And sour splashes spread across her body,
as she fled from the vigilante mob.

The children danced along the panoramic horizon she ran beside,
laughing, pointing, singing.
The slumbering sorrow of the situation became evident,
and she started to feel the calm of fleeting life.

Her dreams aborted and her ideals became fallacies,
and with the sound of fuzzy motors in the background, her heart leapt and her feet slipped.

Rope ate into her, wrapping her like the orphaned recklessness of each set of eyes that painted her.
She squirmed amongst the cheers.
She cried with every thrown beer and balloon.
The empty-eyed males gang ***** her.
The women covered the children's eyes,
and the children tried to move their mothers' hands.

And I pushed my way through the crowd.
And I saw her smothered in blood, beer, and gasoline.
I wanted to halt the hurricane that destroyed morality.
But I am a coward.
Frozen by my fear, I, too, am a murderer.
And a murderer I'll always be,
for the burning of all that was good.

Sudden flames soared towards the sky.
Laughter escaped as molotov cocktails exploded onto her body.
Her head turned towards the crowd,
as flames scampered across her face.
I saw in her, what I never saw before,
which was the human race.
Walking hand in hand along the beach
Water crashing down on sand covered shore

Foam forming on salt water peaks
As the sun gleams on swelling waves

But the beauty I see as I stroll along
Is the wisp of hair blown about

Around the face of my true love
As we play and stroll

Along the beach hand in hand
A day with my love at the beach
