Her.
Neha Vineesh Apr 2017
When all your world comes crumbling down,
There's that one person who holds it all together like Atlas holds the sky.
She is your strength and your weakness.
You want to let her in but you can't.
She tries endlessly, but you cannot put down your walls.
They're higher and stronger than ever.
You don't want to hurt her so you let her go, to spare her the pain.
It hurts more than ever but you let her go.
She's hurting but you know it's for the best.
Praying, believing that she'll be there once you've found yourself.
You want to save her but you've gotta save yourself first.

BROKEN.
Neha Vineesh Sep 2015
I fell
into the ocean of love.
I thought you would too.
But instead,
You left me there to drown.
Feeling alone, unwanted, unloved.
I tried swimming,
But how can I?
You took everything within me.
I'm trying to hold myself together,
But it's difficult.
I feel breathless,
Soulless,
Heartless.
I feel broken.
I feel empty.
I need you to restore this.
I need you to put back the broken pieces
And make me unbroken.
I need you to fix me.
I need you to make me feel alive again.
I need you to want me back.
I need you to jump into the ocean
And save me.
Cause baby, without you there is no life in me.
You meet thousands of people, they don't touch you. Then you meet one person and your life is changed forever.
