Rain

The sun wears the same stupid mask
All the time
To cover its ugliness.

The rain is raw.
It knows its flaws.

It’s happy we do not hide from it
And happier when we appreciate it.
It just wants to be
loved.

Beneath my ribs, a songbird sleeps,

Whispering truths no one dares to keep.

I thread my wounds through silken lies,

Broken glass beneath soft lullabies.

He moves like shadow, so close, so far,

Reaching for a light that isn’t where we are.

I hush my heart – let it break, let it bleed, unseen.
He's really trying it's heartbreaking, but he doesn't really get it right.

The sky
Has finally
Let itself cry
Finally
Put itself first
And I'm not angry about it

I can be covered in rain
As long as I know
It's just the sky
Doing what everyone deserves to do

Everyone needs to cry sometimes
Doesn't matter
What gender
Or if you are up so very very high
You deserve to cry

Dear sky,
Thank you
For always being there for me
And everyone else
When they cry

Dear sky,
It's okay
Let it all out
I don't mind
(half of this note was written by a plant in drought that needed rain and the other half by a plant that had too much water and drowned)

Nothing is ugly
Like nothing is beautiful

These are mere ideas
Just concepts really
Opinions

So when we could easily be
A beautiful concept
We choose to use the word
"Ugly"

Both are wrong
Both are right

You decide
Which one you call yourself
In the mirror tonight
Just today I heard a girl looking in the mirror in the bathroom and calling herself ugly and a few minutes later girls called her pretty. She didn't know. And honestly, both are wrong, and both are right.

(This note was written by a special grain of sand)
Fat Bertha opened her front door.
She was dressed in a sheer negligee and a seductive smile.

"Hello, babe," she purred."Will I do?"

I admired her full figure, scarcely hidden beneath.

I could hardly catch a breath, before she dragged me inside and ravaged me.

I only popped round to borrow some teabags.

no price on the wind,
whispered soft, "Forgive me, friend."
hearts mend without cost.
Sometimes an apology is not enough.
