I hit myself with my hammer.
I know you know when I say
Pain so explosive
You laugh.
For sure, you know that thud
That says "nail" like the others, only
Other.

Your eyes hit mine like hardware.

Beauty so dizzying
You laugh.
For sure, you know that in
That says "love" like the others, only
Other.

Tall palm trees swaying to the summer breeze
Do ye hear the wailing of the Zamindar's dog?
Peasants watering the fields, their struggles to cease
The scent of the wet soil and the morning fog.

Laughing alongside the silent river those women
Sparkly doe-shaped eyes, balancing a *** on their heads
To a confident rhythm their bare hips sway, raw beauty doesn't hide
Bending over to fetch water under the scorching sun overhead.

Frowning at the tropical summer fate
Young men walking behind the gloomy cattle
One haughty whip whack on the animal's back
They move on through the peaceful village rattle.

People witness the first rays of the sun
They continue to work even after the days choke
Dancing to the tunes of sheer simplicity
Live the wise and healthy village folk.

Caged in glass,
*Can you see thru to the other side?
Wake up, love, the sun shines
Let your dreamy eyes' gaze align.
Could you hear her scream at night?
Wretched Pandora gives no peace of mind.
But dont you cry, love, because after the rain
Comes the rainbow, no more fright.
You hang in there, beautiful
And I'll come before the sun kisses the ground.
I'll make my way into your fortress
And steal you away at night.
Pandora awakens,
But no spell of hers can keep us apart.
Don't you cry, love
This knight will not falter.
There's no wall too high,
Nor a sword too sharp.
No dream too impossible,
Or battles unbeatable.
Hang in there, love,
I'll be there,
*Before the sun kisses the ground.

Last night I had the strangest dream
An Angel came and took my hand
She opened her wings and we flew
Forever high until we reached Heaven
She showed me to another world
Unlike the world far down below

Children played, black and white together
All races and creed walked side by side
The lion walked with a baby lamb
A little three year old girl giggled
As she rode on the back of a white wolf
Up above I could feel the sun shine down

I saw John Lennon and Bob Marley laughing
John Wayne in talks with Buddy Holly
A mouse and cat played gently together
This whole world was a marvel to see
No ocean but fish swam in the sky
Dolphins swimming next to the sharks

The Angel turned and she spoke to me
"Please do not judge our God", she said
"Those little children tormented to die"
"When down below in the world of yours"
"Will be reborn here and be at peace"
"For God can not stop the evil below"

I understood, for all the bad that we see
Of people who suffer and the things we do
God will never tresspass in our dormain
The souls will be reborn in this perfect place
To begin anew and to always be protected
Away from all the hate and bathed in love

I awoke and wished I could still dream
And I knew I would return there once again
When the right time came for me to go back
So until then, I will walk in this place of ours
Knowing that Heaven is now waiting up above
While down here we are all living in Hell

Let’s go and bathe in the moonlight shower
Which will cleanse our soul of all the dirt
Unclad, with nothing to hide from each other
Enveloping our form with the glistening stars
I can see the sparkle of happiness in your eye
As we submerge in nature’s Jacuzzi
Softly massaging and reviving our feelings
Becoming aware of each other’s presence
The celestial showers drenching us
With the milk oozing from the moon, so pure
The agonizing wait is over
Our silhouettes are walking towards the woods
As we are the vines, which grew apart
Now, it’s time for us again to embrace
Entwined more closely now
As we are now rejuvenated by the celestial shower

stumbling home in the rain.
O, to be so drunk again.

If poetry could heal you, I would write on every surface in your house, I would write it until my hands bled.
If my words could sink into your bloodstream and became your second savior, I would fog every window in your car with I love you's and words I've only whispered as you slept.
If suddenly you fell to your knees with the weight of the world, I would grab every strong cell I had, to grab the world around the shoulders to redirect it in my direction.
my love for you is inexhaustible.
