it is the way that I wake up in the middle of the night relentlessly searching for you in a single bed

the way I instinctively say we because I have no more desire to be the solo remnants of an ‘I’ that was too tired to stand up straight

the way I cannot help but smile in fragments of moments when I realise that you have become more valuable and yet more priceless than the next breath I breathe

that I’ve come to realise just how much I love you
Being away only for a day but it feels like longer

Take this kiss on the nape of your neck
As
I rid your heart of the pain I may cause it to bare
Bathe every piece of me with inevitable envy
For I long to spend my endless sorrows with just a touch of your skin
Smoothen these calloused hands with the finest lotion
So
They can finally reach for your warm embrace
Twist my bones and crush them into the finest dust of narcotics
So
You can get high off my fault line
Then toss what's left of me into the sweetest blazen of beauty's  Beast .
Preserve all the wonder in my eyes
For
They know no boundaries when cast on your shadowy figure
For I have longed for just the rhythm of your voice
To hypnotize the blind man I've become
Even so
I must leave my love , for I serve no light to your dimmed frame of beauty
I am a stained being
Who
Stains as she leaves
So
Do not water your sheets for a heathen like me
I
Do not deserve the waters of your love
So
Carry your heart with ease
As my hands are stained with a past I cannot bare to speak
For
When I've loved ...
I've only silently lost
I wrote this poem when I was 13 , I somehow had given myself the impression that I could write in old English 😅
Stars dazzling in the sky
Hanging in the galaxy
In dark black vaccum
From billions of years
Waiting for someone
To give them a new space
With colour sky
Strive for success
Success is refraction

Refraction is mirage
Mirage in desert
Desert of desires

Run for desires
Desires after desires

No rest from desires
No water for ******
In mirage of desires

Nothing for rest
Rest for body
Peace in mind
Love for soul
In the world of desires

Sit in the solace
Of your soul
To free from mirage
Mirage of desires
Two days were left
For my marriage
Every one was busy

Relatives were talking
They were joking

Some were cooking
Ready for feeding

Dustbin was full
I took the bin
Went to clear the tin

Suddenly I stopped
One life was breathing
On the heap of dumping

Too weak to walk
In state of gasping

I went back running
Brought a basket of canning
With a cotton clothing

To give cushion
To a young puppy

My relatives disagreed  for keeping
If it died
It might bring misfortune
"Throw it out
From where you brought"

My mother said nothing
I fed the life drop by drop
With a dropper

Till evening to our surprise
It came out from basket
It was moving

At night
It went to its bamboo house
We covered it with soft piece of cotton dhoti
To keep it warm
In that winter night

I checked twice
During that night
It was sleeping right

At early morning
I tried to take it out
But it was motion less
And breathing less

Every one told
To dump the body in dumping place

But how could I?
I was mother for one day

We buried not in hurried
In the soil
With few prayers
To make soul free
To rest in peace
In the following lines find five basic elements of life, five senses and their five functions

Close your eyes
Feel the love in air

Inhale the air
Let your nose
Smell the fragrance of rose

Touch the earth
Feel the moisture in layer

Find the molecules of water
To let your tongue
Taste the spices in nature

See towards sky
Give ear to hear
The sounds hanging in atmosphere

Smile to sun
Let  the rays enter in your skin
When you sit alone
In the solitude
To find the oysters
To get pearls of thoughts
From ocean of mind
To write an art

Every single pin drop
Creates ripples of disturbances
To dis create the fine art

Silence was a canvas
And no one could paint it like you could
‪I Miss Us,

‪I wonder when things changed‬

‪And smiles at the sight of eachother‬
‪To intolerable presence and snide remarks ‬
‪And growing feelings never stood a chance.‬
‪Our first and last mistake.‬
