Step in and rest wearily
Your troubles here are the best
Every image your fear does possess

Such pretty illusions
Poses and all sweet scents
Where too are all the roses

And the thorns they don't bite
When you're safe from all your doubts
In this room comfort seeps deceptively

Till your dead
From the inside
Out is but a grave

In the comfort zone
Artificially boxed restrained
Air short getting shorter waning

All the once pretty flowers
Their colours run down dreary
Till sludge is climbing up your legs

No lock no key but deception
Has claimed another chapter
Of what life may still claim

Time for motion of ones will
What does willingness will for
With some distressing emotion

A heartful of determination
Shall give rise to some clever
Quick thoughts in desperation

Beware of your next step
That such is beyond the

Zone...

Of deathly comfort!!!

I like the way you destroy yourself. The way your corpse-like face, with its sunken in cheeks and hollowed out eyes, smiles a crooked yellow smile at the thought of being buried in the ground, rotting away. I thought it was beautiful the way you'd force your fingers down your throat with spindly fingers, "look a rainbow," you'd say, "it's so beautiful," you'd whisper, clutching a slow burning cigarette between the two yellow fingers of your other hand. You'd flush the toilet with such grace. The whole process would've been that of a maestro conducting Beethoven’s 7th symphony, and for all you knew, it was.

I loved that time we were lying in that figurative gutter of morality and you handed me a sharpie, "wanna play connect the dots?" you rolled up your sleeve.

I still remember that day you stole that wedding dress from the Salvation Army. it was out of style and it's still up for debate whether that stain was red wine or blood, but you waltzed right in there, a needle still sticking out of your ******* neck, took that dress in your own two, scab littered arms, and walked right out the front door like you owned the place. I could've kissed you.

In that dress you looked like a princess, with your stringy hair and frame so malnourished that it hung off of you like you were wearing a pair of drapes, you looked like a something out of a bonafide Disney movie.

With my hand in your right hand, and a bag of speed in your left, you pulled me around the corner into the seclusion of the alley.

"I look like a princess"

You looked beautiful

"And that makes you my prince"

A homeless man stirred from behind a dumpster, peeking over the top, his eyes - though showing clear signs of many years deep in any bottle he could find - showed realization. His hand disappeared in the downward direction, his eyes were wide.

“And you know what princes and princesses always get?"

My hand was around your fragile throat, your neck read like Braille, you smile, such a beautiful smile.

"They always get, a happy ending"

And from there, I can't be sure, but I think all three of us finished at the same time.

But of all the days we had together, of every self-destructive tendency you had, I will always remember the day, all of your endless hard work finally materialized into everything you wanted it to become.

“I am the **** of the ******* earth”

This was the day you destroyed yourself. You told me why.

“I turned to self destruction for solace, solace from everything I was expected to become being shoved down my throat, I wiped my *** with morality and dogmas, and I became the antithesis of what I was supposed to be, I ******* won.”

And with that you dropped to your knees in front of the coffee table, the transparency of its clear glass surface obstructed by five pristine white lines. Like perfect little white picket fences, surrounding perfect little yards that perfect little children would play their perfect little games while their perfect parents would do not so perfect things behind the doors of their perfect little houses.

And this is when I understood.

Your *****, messy, clumped-up hair offered a half veil for your face. A $1 bill hovered above the first line; your practiced anticipation was beautiful. God, I loved this part, because you loved this part. Just before that first hit, just before the euphoria expanded, washing over you, blanketing your lanky figure and troubled mind in bliss. Your last seconds on earth.

And this is when I understood.

Before long, all five lines were absent from the table, and making their way through your system, you were glowing. You raised yourself up and teetered on your 6-inch heels, your stick thin legs threatening to snap in half and cut you down. You wrapped your arms around me, you didn't say it, neither did I. Your eyelids fluttered and you batted your eyelashes. I don’t know if it was on purpose, but it was ****.

You walked to the balcony, I knew you wouldn't jump. You just stood there, impossibly high, in your impossibly high heels, at the impossibly great distance to the ground. Your tiny frame, illuminated perfectly by the glow of the electric bug zapper, it was the perfect analogy. Your spotlight was a killer, and your beauty was destruction.

The sun fell behind the horizon lines, and the crescent moon rose high in the sky.

“I’m going to lounge on that”

The stars were faintly visible though the light pollution.

“I’m going to find the flattest stars and skip them through galaxies.”

You had a bottle of ****** in one hand, a bottle of ***** in the other.

“I’m going to visit every planet; I’m going to live in their gutters.”

The bottles were both open, you set the ***** down, shaking out pill after pill into your open palm, you smiled.

“I’m going to meet an alien; I’m going to dance with him.”

A mouth full of ****** and a bottle of ***** to wash it down.

“I’m going to meet God, if there is such a thing.”

Hours passing, felt like seconds. You’re starting to slip, you’re starting to float up, up to all those promises you made to the moon, and the stars, and the aliens.

For the longest time, I couldn't tell if your lifelessness was figurative – conjured up by my perspective of what you are – or literal. I may have sat there for a long time, admiring the beauty of everything you worked so hard for. You looked the same, and I think that was beautiful. It was beautiful the way you epitomized ruination. How you massacred every conventional idea of what it meant to be alive and well. How you taught me that a sense of loss is only relative. I think it was beautiful the way you destroyed yourself.

Divine Minds Transcend

There is so much more than what we see
what we fear and choose to perceive
what we're told we must believe
a place that's hard to conceive
a portal to a world beyond belief
Since birth, it waits for you and me
a world beyond a lucid dream
I can tell you where this portal leads
it leads to a cure for humanity
So step onto the magic train
and learn to accept your certain death
For life is nothing more
then fabricated reality

Fate, it seems is not without a sense of irony

I finally broke free of the evil me
it wasn't church that set me free
it wasn't drugs from psychiatry
it wasn't money that made me see
I had to die from this reality
and accept my certain death

It's your turn to consider the facts
now breathe a bit and try to relax
Just one second as I remove the mask
then a crack like a whip and a panic attack
No slack as you slip into a static bath
your vertebrae split you are severed in half
You blast away and never look back
the math adds up so you have to adapt
Half of you is lost and your soul is cracked
the other half swirls in the endless black
As you float down an uncharted path
you finally breakthrough at last

All you thought you knew from life is shattered
as you step into the looking glass

I saw you gasping
Again and again
Between nothing and nothingness
Where nothing was there but a stone
Be it in the sun, the ice cold frozen tundra
What is air to this stone, the stone of persecution
Stones of death, sorrows, judgments, pity by self or
By others who have taught us by now oh all too well...
We have mastered our own death walking, talking, gasping
between nothing and nothingness as if upon a cross or the last
time we shall have our mouth above water ever again...feigning
what would be life, but we have bound one another whereby to save
oneself every move we make just tightness the noose, or drives in the barbs
of poisonous fangs that not only numb but at once intensify ones pains and of
desperations...
you've been here all much long before
a watchtower whereby you look for the door
the door out, the door unguarded you might slip past
one slick night and too you guard that door with all you've got left
you can still call life,

get out and or don't even dare
enter my shattered temple holy still

like two paths daily moment by moment
there are two gasps you can dare
one as if your first
the other just
might be

I remember you were born happy
Belly full of joyful loving exuberance

I watched you gasp today
as all that so desperately
just wanted back in

Your beautiful temple
Body soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched LOVE today
Trying so desperately
With some fervent gasping's
To Simply Be LOVE to YOU!!!!

Fulling out a belly full
of wondrous loving joy
blissful rambunctiousness

To match so graciously
Your Magnanimous Heart!!!!!!!!!!
What I saw while my best friend was so busy between some first and last, nothing and everything and all at once!!! May the Infinite Sea of Love Fill Every Belly Once Again!!!

vircapio gale
our yearning sent us
striding from the herd and out
to climb with fettle toes
an unknown height

our bellied wine and swoon
to open-eyed unveiling high
the purest vista sought, but found
another sight

flashing honey in our hearts
we sang into the stars
our dance of wandering
our lips ripe

and there on idyll spike
we coupled free
denuded each we let the cosmos see
how bright and fierce we came

yet quickly we were not the same
in culmination's wake
our visions meshed
subdued the flame

we fell apart in time
descending into spite
facing elsewhere
facing night

the ache was all of life
my private thoughts
were doomed to strife
and flirted vicious hate

devoted to escape the weight
of any snide devotion's cage
we raged a final rage
then gave ourselves to fate

our wounds would send us far
flying from our love
to seek with calloused toes
new unknown heights

i gave up understanding fate
i lay down
embraced the furthest peak
berating all i'd done

i hated all i was
a curse on those i loved
a darkness plague
i spat into my soul

i'd left my home  my love
to claim an ownmost throne
my hidden heart beat slow
and turned to stone

wind no longer blew
the sun went dim
stars forsook my song
and final silence won

i lay dead inside my cave
but for an obscure truth
that even weakest hearts
weave threads of ruth

the faces of the herd
rejoined me then
their whispers lured me out
and dared me  hope

i'd found my kernal self
a love remained despite the hate
the tone of loneliness had changed

a single loving vast instilled itself
on far off pinnacle alone
blissful in myself  at last
from cattle drone
from mired sweet decay
from friendship's whine
and lover's scree
i spoke   i wrote
and measured new complacency
believing i could write a final line
express an everpresent note

astride a mountain bull
i surveyed vales below
in reborn doubt retraced
the steps we'd come

mystic pretense dawned
in shades of brilliant gray
i leapt from paradox
i sung

my eyes became a mist
my arms the mountain range
sky for breath, all rivers
fed my heart

from clouds i looked
embracing earth i blew
love sprung green
and true
