A beautiful life
Begins like every other
Crawling as an infant
Drawing whatever comes to mind
Everything is possible
For life is eternal, or so it seems
Grades soon become your nightmare
Haunting your every dream while
Inside, you feel the changes
Just as they said would happen
Kids slowly die.
Laughter becomes medicine
Managing all your stresses
Now you are just a shell of who you once were
Only filled with the expectations of those around you
Pride is what keeps the wishes and desires
Quivering in the back of your mind
Resist the fear and fight back, kid
See, a beautiful life requires resistance
Triumph can only exist with great pressure
Under the heaviest concrete, blooms the strongest rose
Virtue and happiness can be found if you follow your dreams
While others may tell you
eXactly what you should do
You are the only one that knows you.

Zen is in all of us, so go and live that beautiful life
An Alphabet poem
James May 2020
The essence of life grows from within its roots
It gives life to those around it
as it gives air to those that will one day destroy it
Forever misunderstood, under appreciated, undervalued.
How can you **** that which gives life
How can you **** the mother to your own children.
Siding with the reaper in the war of life and death
This isn't a test, you don't pass or fail
But you do eat the fruit in which you bear
As you see yourself in the reaper's blade
Is that last breathe one of satisfaction or regret?
Fulfilment or exhaustion?
Did you fight for life or beg for death.

Something inside just doesnt feel right
I talk to the reaper maybe every other night
He says it's not my time yet but I dont believe him
Talk to him more than I do God, who would've thought

Hes just happy to have some sort of companion
Someone that thinks of death as much as he
Someone that sees it as the almighty powerful
Something out of gods reach
Something like that is the power the preachers should preach
Something the teachers should teach

We should bow to the reaper pray for his forgiveness
As it's his blade where well breathe our final breath
Think our final thought, fight our final fight
What's after death surely doesnt matter

As our atoms start to scatter as if they were never together
In a way they're kinda clever, never attached to the permanence
move on with no emotions binding them
So they can start anew
