Cradle me in your warmth
Along the river bank we stroll
Grass is growing between our toes
And thrushes sing your name

Promises of days gone by
When the sun did warm our hearts
And candy cotton clouds did fly
Along the northern breeze

Remember how we kissed that day
Lips that tasted heaven
And golden honey from bees of love
Caressed my mouth

Oh the days of summer walks
Along this river bank
Take us to another plain
Where in love we look beyond
The darkest and the plain

If I am kindling,
you must be the spark...
Much alive in the darkest dark,
lifting all shadows with
finesse and flair.

     If I am flame,
you must be the air and wind...
     Unfettered and free...
     Cradling my infancy.
     Only to nurture and inspire,
     to groom flame to fire.

If I am faltering...
And almost extinguished,
you must be the hand...
Bearing the confidence and belief...
Awaiting the moment most opportune,
to align yourself in rhythm and tune.
So we could...
Continue to
burst forth into light.
So we could...
Resume our journey forth with might.

Let us be our own deterrent
     from the darkness
     that comes with morrow's set.
     Hand in hand, we must...
     Because together...
          And only together,

   we're...

                        incandescent.
Happy New Year to all!

Long gone are the warm flames of love
Ice cold hearts break into shards of hate
No more kisses in the night
Replaced by the hand of fate

Shadows dance upon the walls
Of lost love now hidden from the sun
How to hold once more the tender
Being that was

So cry no more for loves lost touch
But melt insted the hate filled soul
And tears shall fall upon cheeks so red
Bitten by the frost

Once upon a time my friend
I lost to the winds of time
Frozen in my deepest wound
Unable to cry for time

Yet here I stand bathed in light
Holding out my hands
For soon on the summer light
A heart I will understand

I wanna be the one who holds you now
To wipe the sad tears
And kiss your brow
To say hey babe
It will be alright
And fall with you
In the night

These words I write
Will kiss your heart
Hold your hand when
You can't start
The day like it should be
So come on angel
Rest on me

Singing your name as I float down the river laying in dreams on this boat made of wood
Thinking bout how we used to giggle
About kissing and hugging under the stars

Birds sing along the river bank as time pulls me forwards into a bustling dream as my mind wanders along your curves I felt on that magical night

Smiles became the nights dreams and bodies joined as one for my love for you like this stream runs forever more

So call to me now in the bustling breeze and let this little boat sail unto your heart
For in your river I will swim with you as my guide

Some days the clouds are grey
And some days the world
Should just go away
Some days never ending sleep
Feels like the only way

Memories play out in the mind
Like bad films
That just go on repeat
Never wanting to end

Some days just living a life
Feels like a battle of strife
Silence can suffocate
And tears can sting like wild bees

But when you do lift your head
From that sactum of bed
And spy a little glimps
Of the sun
Maybe then life can
Start
And today you will be
The person you know for real
