The coldest night air
Seems no different than the
Space around the stars.

the roaring of stars
sound yet to reach our ears

-fires of the Universe
burning to death.

scrub off your makeup
replace your chipped nail varnish
it’s a brand new year

I am running out of
words, plenty lines
and pages, but my
well of wisdom has
been depleted, dry.

Divining for a new
source is futile, all
explorations to date
have been in vain, my
head is on the block.

Mine in time
And that’s just fine
Because I can wait
For something great
It won’t be too late
It’s just fate

The sun disappears into the horizon, the light brighter than ever, a sparkle lights up in my eye, as I watch the sun say its last goodbye.
