You read what may seem like fiction to you
Though to me its my reality
I thank you for reading thoughts that I keep to myself
As would a dictionary on a library shelf
Thank you for allowing me to feel like my words matter
I receive my notifications on a mental silver platter
As I view your feedback I feel happy inside
A spark, a flame begins to ignite
I usually feel very misunderstood
When you read my insanity I feel very good
I promise never to write a written lie
But to write a vision through my minds eye
I promise never to write a poem thats been forced
Like a marriage thats been bound to end in a divorce

You are a repeat roller coaster.
On speed.
In a storm;
A hurricane, to be exact.

You are exactly what I want
And what I detest.

You twist and turn me,
Leaving snakebite scars around my heart

You disguise my devil decisions
And the halo you wear, so lovely,
Does it justify?

Love lost
such cost drowning in seas
Waves flooding, some wading
tides to recede
Wash over
troubles, waters run free
to float, touch clouds
we hope
Smooth sailing, dead calm
we'll drift, waves lift
to carry us
home

When the stars start falling
And the raindrops stay up in the sky

When Judas is considered the savior
And Jesus the criminal, who used to get away

When hell freezes over
And heaven is just another evil away

Then you'll be my prince in shining armor
And I'll be your princess, waiting to be saved

Yes I judge

I find it selfish
Yes I have darkness
I find it haunting

It happens too often
Yes I am weak
It makes me sad
Yes I love addictions
They make me feel whole
Yes I fear
It is only natural
Yes I am angry
It fuels my passion
Yes I have dreams
For I am only human

to feel such a connection
sharing the same pain
the same love
the same heart break
isn't it beautiful
I have buried my pain for many a year
it has torn me apart
but now I find solace
in all your words that I also feel
I may write too much
but it has been so long
I need to empty my soul
so please don't mind me

We are the wretched broke down souls
Running through the boulevards
Though the warning bells do toll
We are hunted by our cards
Unfairly dealt, but the game is done
It is never us who won
We know who we are
Our eyes of shattered glass
The asylum is never far
And neither is our past
