Oceans,
Rivers,
Trees,

The magnificence of nature
Makes me fall to my knees.

Such breathtaking beauty
Brings me to overwhelming tears,

As it captures my heart,
Embraces my soul,
And strips me
Of my anxiety and fears.

Valleys,
Hilltops,
Wildflowers,
Streams,

Serene, soulful nature
Vividly alive in my dreams.

The harder we fall

Leaves you feeling
Lower than low
Smaller than small

With a bitter aftertaste

Helplessly feeling our joy

Because you do not read?

Shall I stop trying to get through life
Because you think
I will not succeed?

Shall I stop planting my thoughts -
Each poem a precious seed,

Shall I stop being myself
Because you do not see beauty
In self-expression,
Or because you see a wildflower
As a ****?

What do you want from me?

"How do you manage life
Having 5 daughters?"

My reply is always the same...

"I couldn't manage life
Without my 5 daughters!"

That I love you
You can rest assured
That I mean what I say,

If I tell you
That I care about you,
Know, that for you,
I would well and truly
Go out of my way.

For, if I have placed you
Inside my heart,
And you now own
A space inside my mind,

It simply means
That I appreciate you,
I find your uniqueness
To be a blessing -
I believe that you are rare,
One of a kind!

If I tell you
That you are a true friend
To me,

You can rest assured
That I value
Your designed placement
Inside my reality,

Because friendship
Means so much more to me
Than just words,
It means that my soul
Recognises your soul
As a second home,

Meaning that
My soul admires
Your beautiful personality;
And, from it,
My heart
Will never want to roam!

Because, to me,
You are like sunshine,
You are an umbrella
In the rain,

You are as dependable
As each morning sunrise,
You understand
That imperfections and flaws
Make us all unique;
Hence, around you,
I never feel any shame.

So, if I tell you
That I love you
You can rest assured
That I mean what I say,

I wouldn't change
Anything about you,
I wouldn't have our friendship

I build a new
Unclimbable wall,

Whenever I am afraid
That I am going to fall.

All of the bricks,
In which I lay,

Keep me another
Safe, step away...

From landing into
The darkness,

The emptiness,
The loneliness.

The silence,
And its extremely
Unbearable loudness,

The painfully, harsh
Numb feeling
Of nothingness.

For, I
Have been to this place
Too many times before,

And I am not intentionally reckless;
Hence, I construct every new wall
Without a window
Or a door.

Blindfolded,
I can identify  
The rhythm
Of his beating heart,

It beats in-tune with mine,
A perfect duet,
Just like it did
From the very start.

Blindfolded,
I can identify  
His chest,
The chest that encapsulates
My heart,

His contour,
The unique scent of his skin,
Every pore that makes him "Him!"
~ A handsome, ineffable masterpiece;
My priceless statue
Of fine art.
