i met with a bird singing to its lover
and its lover listened with love
they came together on a branch of a sycamore
kissed beaks with the innocence of the garden of Eden
but Man came along carrying a heavy burden
the death of his brother infecting his blood
with ****** in his heart he shot dead the two love birds
bleeding they fell to the earth and Man fell even further from love.

you give your all
set free from open palms

absorbed within the All in All

a new creature
not of this world.

where silence is the biggest sound around
eternity opens her gates
and you ride the silent truth, for as long as you wish.

allow me to share the silence with you
for its where all things are said and done
no one goes without and all things are one.

Silence is a place
many travel there
and do not stay for long
but some travel there
never to be seen again.

I took the long road to silence
carved my prayer from oak.
But when solitude found me
prayer became a soft falling rain.

Shadows play a gentle game
and the departing tide moves slowly
a bird finds shelter where it may
from the falling sky, wet heavy cloud
a drink for all thirsty life to flourish
when it rains, it rains for everything
animals, plants, and people,
I give thanks for the rain, so beautiful
a shower, a storm, and the rainbow.

Deeper the silence
slowly inexorably
still silent centre
calls forth her children
be still and listen.

Everything has its own language
-the wind, rain, and snow
Animals, the Sun, and the Moon.

But a poet must enter the language of silence
the language behind all songs
and be content to listen-

Listen until the silence reveals itself
and the poet can sing like the wind, rain, and snow,
Animals, the Sun, and the Moon.
