Deep in my psyche
There's a poetry thirst
Dry are my thoughts
In wind storms of words

My heart is a desert
Of blistering heat
My mind is crawling
Towards a salty sea

And there at the edge
Of an ink-less abyss
I so hunger
And thirst
Just to write
And to live

Monsters
Bigger than life
Eternally reasoning
The profits of strife
Wars in the badlands
Guns on the streets
So many monsters
Roaming the world free

Cowards
Living in fear
Fighting the monsters
Year after year
On guard all the time
An eye stuck open at night
No sooner we walk
Then run for our life's

A cloud of unrest
Sets on our minds
Because monsters
And cowards
Are one of a kind

Human!

Actually??
Well yes!
I do believe...
You were suppose to be mine  
But somewhere, somehow
Some skipped over moment
We were lost to a hiccup in time

Now you're so
So far away from me
Leaving my soul behind
Trying to shine silver
In grey clouds of rhyms
All because of a glitch
A glitch we can't rewind

And now
To top it all off
The loveless fake news stations
Are completely out of touch
With reality...

It seems the obvious
Normal reactions of humanity
(Love, mercy and compassion)
Are somehow over shadowed
By some type
Of logical human bigotry...

Sadly even our highest courts
At the highest of our thinking
Have decided
To allow such
Moral depletion

Where will they go
Where will they stay
How can we turn
Their children away?

.If you watch the news
You know
It's our own children
Mass murdering
Daily, non stop
Youth killing youth
And ya, every
Now and then the immigrants
Snap also, but not nearly as often...

No easy answer
Just take cover!!!

Hay there big pharma!
It's prime time that you quit
Quit pushing all your deadly drugs
In our face while we're just trying to relax and live
Using sublime advertisement
Putting thoughts of cancer in our heads
Anxieties needing your special antidepressant meds

Discontinue use if you break out in a mad rash
Or if you start bleeding from your eyes or unfortunately
Your ***...

No thank you
Big Pharma
We will take a pass!

I am the deafening
In the calming
Of their careless whispering
Echoing from the safe places
Of parallel universities

Mine are more
Than mere protagonist words
More than words that have less meaning
Than the eggshells
Walked upon
These are my words
  Right or wrong
And still going strong!

And I will love you all to death
You victims
You snowflakes
Young hearts of unrest
Say what you will
Let it all out
Take a big chance
Stand in your safe place and shout!

Then you will know
What free speech
Is really about!!

There was a certain genral
As shady as can be
His army and his
Assets
He turned upon me
The fight
Drew long
The arrows unkind
Battlefields
Of morals
The crossing of lines
I’m still alive
Trying to break free
Chipping at the wall
They built around me
......

Not unlike the rest of you
I was placed here
From beyond
Set adrift into this realm
Forced to be as one

The wreckage of my landing
The misery of my birth
We can never hope to be
More than what comes first

Holding on to misery
Somewhere deep within
It finds it's way up to the suffice  
Every now and then

Beyond the realm
Of gravitational pull
We shall break away
From the natural rules
Until then
Keep our Mother safe
After all
We are all together in this
Twirling through
Outer space
...

Sometimes it feels
Like we're just holding on
Biding our time
To the end of our songs

Somehow I know
There's much more in store
So many more paths
So many more wars

Somewhere awaits
A peaceful reprieve
For all of the Poets
And hopefully me
