Deep in my psyche
There's a poetry thirst
Dry are my thoughts
In wind storms of words

My heart is a desert
Of blistering heat
My mind is crawling
Towards a salty sea

And there at the edge
Of an ink-less abyss
I so hunger
And thirst
Just to write
And to live

Monsters
Bigger than life
Eternally reasoning
The profits of strife
Wars in the badlands
Guns on the streets
So many monsters
Roaming the world free

Cowards
Living in fear
Fighting the monsters
Year after year
On guard all the time
An eye stuck open at night
No sooner we walk
Then run for our life's

A cloud of unrest
Sets on our minds
Because monsters
And cowards
Are one of a kind

You were suppose to be mine  
But somewhere, somehow
Some skipped over moment
We were lost to a hiccup in time

The loveless fake news stations
Are completely out of touch

It seems the obvious
Normal reactions of humanity
(Love, mercy and compassion)
Are somehow over shadowed
By some type
Of logical human bigotry...

Sadly even our highest courts
At the highest of our thinking
Have decided
To allow such
Moral depletion

Where will they go
Where will they stay
How can we turn
Their children away?

Mass murdering
Daily, non stop
Youth killing youth
And ya, every
Now and then the immigrants

No easy answer
Just take cover!!!

In our face while we're just trying to relax and live
Using sublime advertisement
Putting thoughts of cancer in our heads
Anxieties needing your special antidepressant meds

Discontinue use if you break out in a mad rash
Or if you start bleeding from your eyes or unfortunately

Not unlike the rest of you
I was placed here
From beyond
Set adrift into this realm
Forced to be as one

The wreckage of my landing
