Little breezes stirred
The tall majestic oak trees
And blew the tall grass

Sub Rosa
Leave your concious mind
into vivid dreams
fall into the sheets
to watch stars capsize
beneath a distant horizon.
Cling to their brilliance
swing from their beams above the fields
call farewell to the
antagonists
who shoved you too far
Whisper into the vacant spaces
words of reassurance
tell yourself
'it's okay to follow the light'
an escape
beyond the reaches of your lifetime
into the heavy darkness.
let the stars lead you
so readily
beyond.
So forlorn
is the echo
of your final goodbye.

Reality is make believe, and make believe becomes reality.
Currently lost in my own thoughts: jumbled.
Things that have been said floats hopelessly in my mind.
I've learned that words can either **** or comfort us.
Although, it is our own choice whether we want to stand firm or shatter to pieces.
Society tranforms into a beautiful nightmare.
Nowadays everyone's a critique.
Society doesn't appreciate the greatness in people, but prey on their weaknesses.
It changes the meaning of normal, perfect, friends, and love, and blinds us from the truth.
As i reminisce and look around, I realized just what we truly are, what we've become.
We are the cold-hearted, society everyone blames.

Even if they say
That they
Will change
Walk away

After every hit
Spirit in the pit
Don't believe at
Their *******

Don't even waste your time
To think of a better rhyme
For them
Leave the ******* behind

Because bruise after bruise
Only being used
As a punching bag
Treat him like old news

Because he will never stop
Your confidence will drop
Into oblivion
As he continues to plot

Every hit
He's making a list
To ruin
Bit by bit

So listen to me now
Don't wonder how
You deserve this
He will work you like a plow

So what you should of heard
Of a story so absurd
As a girl letting a man beat her
Because she thought she was a nerd

But no one should ever be treated like that because we are all human beings.

I woke up next to you,
Watched your balanced breathing,
Chuckled at your tousled hair,
But the only difference was
Where I’d usually trace the words,
I love you on your back,
I typed them into instant message,
Got up,
Yawned,
Stretched,
Rubbed away eye crusties,
And turned off Skype.

We made a fruit tree
Stringing store bought bananas
On sycamore branches
Sick of more dead winter
For even the freshest snow
Coated Creation’s color
But the brilliant yellow
Brought us back home
To our sunshine memories.

Chapped lips
Remind me of
Cracked concrete
And how you’d say
Step on a crack and
I’ll never come back!

Except a tree branch
Uprooted the sidewalk
And I fell forward and heart first
Hoping you’d catch me by the shoulder
But you stood true to your word
Because by the time I looked up
I saw your shadow slink away
I sat with scraped knees and
Contused love.
