Sometimes we deserve hurt.
We depend
On someone who is bound
To change,
Rather than depending on
The One
Who is forever the same.

The coward uses flattery
To gain attention,
The brave embraces the truth
In every situation.

Obliviate me of my past memory
The only Ghost that haunts me.
It comes around the end of fall
With an iron scythe
and frozen shackles
Run chills down my bones.
A dark shadow stands tall,
blinds the path I hope to follow
Leaves me empty and shallow
