She was just one hit away
Knew the score
Could stop it anytime
Unlike Kelly, stupid *****
******* needle sticking out of her arm
Christ, how many times
How many times did she tell her
She started selling her body
That’s when you know you’ve hit rock bottom
No way back when you start doing tricks
Told her straight
You’ll either get murdered
Or end up dead in a toilet
She knew best
She became a walking skeleton
Pitiful person who would do anything for a hit
It was only a matter of time now
She would inject anything
Till there was no where else in her body to inject
It was probably a release in the end
Her body just gave up
Kelly found her
The way she found her everyday
You look after your friends
That’s what you do.

Meg
love
knows no boundaries.
love is love is love
and there is nothing you could say
to change that.
Wishing the best to the families of the victims of the tragic Orlando shooting. LGBTQ pride lives on no matter what.

The marriage was a sham
Nothing more, nothing less
The only happy people were her parents
It stood well with them
Years and years, it stood well with them
She couldn’t even blame him
He was everything another woman would have wanted
Just not her
The note was brief
He’d get over her in time
Now time was all she had
Forty two and alone
Seeking enlightenment, just seeking
He was about twenty
Told her he would like to make love with her
Was this the new generation
No courtship, just ***
Though, he didn’t ask for ***
He asked to make love
Maybe it was the experienced woman he was looking for
If lying on her back was experience, she was that woman
Strangely enough, lying on her back seemed a long time after he removed her dress
Never in her life did she dream of someone kissing her through her underwear
The absolute pleasure just derived by somebody touching the right spot
No one had explored her whole body before
No, she didn’t remember being on her back
She did remember being on top
Totally in control
She did remember exploring his young body, the second ****** as good as the first
More surprisingly
She remembered walking around naked totally unashamed.

He knew what women wanted
After all, he was a man of the world
None of that namby pamby stuff for his woman
Oh no, he was a practical man
So when she opened her presents
To find an iron and a hoover
She was ecstatic
She was that ecstatic
That when he came home the next day
To find his shirts pressed
The house spotless
Her gone
He couldn’t believe it.

She watches, and the road drives on
He’s gone, yet the clock keeps ticking
Only in that moment, does she smile
He said it would pass, just like life
You’ve got to live it
No point dancing in the past
Not with the looks of an angel
He was full of ****, so was she
The grass was long then
With mountains that stole your innocence
Miles from the watching eyes
Where love lasted a whole day
Regrets were hid away
Seemed like yesterday
Now she’s alone with him
So respectable she almost cries
For a marriage full of lies
A pillar to all that died
The mountains stood there
Just for a moment
Looking down on innocence
She watches, and the road drives on
He's gone, yet the clock keeps ticking.

Sirenes
A certain peace befalls us
As we stroll through these fields
Where the grass grows so high
I've been here before
It's where I played as a child
3 weeks every summer

I still smell the scent of the barn
That held home
To 16 cows
Here they cut off the horns
And feed them hormones
But not where I come from

Their warm coat colored brown and white
I still hear the lady call them out
Her voice echoes
Through the hallways of my memory.
Here we stopped being
The girls from the city

Each august it was time to harvest
We carried the pitch forks
In our small hands
To the fields where the tractors
Slowly drove by
Skin scratched open
From the insect bites

The burden of hay allergy
But we never loved it less
We caught mise in the barn
Build beds of hay blocks
Swam in the lakes
And took long walks

Toward the end of the cow's labor
With our bare hands
We aided the calf in to this world.
And watched their first steps
And offered them their first milk
We sighed from boredom
And screamed of exitement

There where the grass grows so high.
Never take the country out of me
