Magazine

Outside my door
There's a magazine

I can't step outside my door
There's a magazine

I can't sleep
There's a magazine

I can't eat
There's a magazine

I can't breathe
There's a magazine

What happens when I open my door?
Will the magazine **** me?
Will it tear our my eyes?
Eat my flesh?
Drink my blood?

What will it do?
Well
I'm not willing to find out.

I can't live.
There's a magazine.

Intrusive
Leon Apr 2020
Can you hear me?
Of course you can

Even back then
When your mind would not bend
You could hear me

I gnawed at the back of your mind
I've burrowed so deeply now
I can force you
To answer a question

Will you let me out?
Give me freedom?
Will you set me free?

I know
Deep down
A part of you has a desire
To set me ablaze

You desire so badly to do things my way
To push her off a cliff
To smash his head with a hammer
To run those children over
You
Want
To

Actually
No need to answer

I'm already free.

Don't Trust the Water
Leon May 2020
There's a stream in the woods
I've seen it with my eyes
Tasted the magnificence of its glimmering brilliance

It's made me stronger
Faster
Stronger
Better

Everyone think's I'm insane
But I know the truth
The water is a gift from the great ones

Drink from the stream
Taste the minerals
Let strength be granted

Real Girl
Leon Apr 2020
I saw her
Walking along the busy Tokyo streets
A girl
With emerald green eyes
That shined with such luster
You could tell
She was different

Her brown hair
Swaying in the wind
Like ribbons on a windy day
Those fine tendrils
Drawing me in
To see
What lies beneath that precious fiber?

Her friends
All beautiful and expressive
But their eyes were dull
And their words seemed
Predetermined

They weren't real
She was
She understood
There was more than just her world
She knew
Another world existed
My world

But we can never be together
Separated by a barrier of immeasurable width
Of numerous possibilities
Of infinite choices

She sacrificed herself
To save her friends
And all the people who lived in her world
She made everyone happy
But we can't talk anymore
And my heart aches every day because of it

Nobody can understand our love
The love of people from two different worlds
And although she is now gone
She will forever be in my heart
My mind
My soul

And because of that
She's a part of my world.
As you can probably tell, this is inspired by a very good visual novel called "Doki Doki Literature Club."

Love Poems
Leon May 2020
Sometimes
When I read
The work of a person in love
I realize
How dark my personality really is

I have nobody I love
Only people I admire
No person to share a bed with
Nor a loving family
I feel alone

But
I like it this way
For now at least
It gives me an interesting perspective

So when I see a love poem
Or a happy-go-lucky poem
I wake up
And realize that not every poem
Has to be so dark
Or mysterious
Or have a serious theme

Sometimes
A poem can simply
Be
Happy
How do you feel about your poems? Do you write more about happy things or sad things?

Future?
Leon May 2020
What to do
I don't know
All I do is toil
And soil my existence
I have no assistance

I'm on my own
Nothing is known
My future isn't sewn
I'm simply
Confused.

Myself
Leon Apr 2020
I step into the Castle of Sin
A place of corrupt thoughts
Truly, only evil beings reside here
And that's where I will find him
The antagonist
My enemy.

The walls are red
The lights are dim
And even though the sky outside is as bright as the sun
The windows are black
No light enters this place
Truly, only evil beings reside here.

As I get closer to the center of the room
The start to see a figure
Could this be him?
My foe?
My adversary?
As I get closer
The light becomes dimmer
This radiance is destroyed by his wickedness
Truly, only evil beings reside here.

At last
I see him
His unholy eyes
His vile smile
Truly, he is a being of pure evil.

I finally confront him
I take my fist
and with all my might
I strike him.

The mirror shatters.
