Well Then

Peach
Flickering candlelight
Does nothing to soften
Knife-like silence

As seconds pass
Minutes disappear
Our blood rains gradually
Spreading into an ocean of black

I’ve stopped burning within your atmosphere
Somehow I’m not surprised
I suppose you aren’t either

Hours ran together
A few days turned into weeks
Time never promised to stop
Even for the likes of us

How quickly things change when egos come out to play

Questions

Peach
Would you
Allow me
To sip
From your succulent lips
As night
Seductively slides
Against a crimson stained sky?

Would you
Allow me
To trace
The contours of your aching body
As moonlight
Tempting highlights
Your passion filled form?

Would you
Allow me
To teasingly
******
You
Until...
We're both exhausted?

He used to say
“Give me your love”

“Define love”
Was always my reply

“It’s your body and soul baby, being mine”
He always assumed it was an answer I should know

As night tumbled endlessly
Across a starless sky
I tumbled around
On a bed of pale sheets
Searching for a rhythm
I’d feel deep within my essence

I fell into the moment of
Hands gliding
Hips colliding
Lips seeking
I found empty satisfaction a few times
Somewhere between midnight and 3 AM

I shared my body
But hid my soul
As I dressed
I felt his caress once more
“How about one for the road?” he suggested
As his lips trailed down my neck

No amount
Of body heat
That we generated
Could ever
Warm
My shivering soul

She hit the deck in the land of Aurora with an ‘orrible bang.
Awaiting a grin and a sun kissed smile.
As boldly to chase her luggage she went.
She waited a while to research her smile
Hold on, hold off.
A huff and puff.
She’s lost her stuff.
Can’t find her rugby kit.
Oh dear!
The trip of sky cruising.
A whole lot of losing.
Glowering at the carousel.
All the luggage came and went.
Her clothes nowhere to be found.
Lost them as she hit the ground.
Poor girlie, not a stitch to wear.

“Mr Pyre, come on through.”
“Pop your bottom in my chair.”
“Open wide, please Mr Pyre”
Mr Pyre shaking, quaking in his ***** boots.
Couldn’t bear the dentist.
Was so very scared.
Nurse pops on his cape.
So no dribble spilled.
Mr Pyre, the frightened patient.
Wasn’t very thrilled.
Dentist stuck his mirror in poor Mr Pyre’s mouth.
Sees nothing.
Shocked as no reflection seen.
Very discreet.
All knowing grin.

Working with vampires never ideal.
As Mr Pyre’s teeth they grew.
Leaped out of the chair.
Thought he’d have an early lunch.
Dentist was no more.
For lunch, Mr Pyre munched his dental man.
Ate the nurse, receptionist too.
Extracted his cape of plastic.
Restored his own.
Being a vampire, such a curse!
Then from the surgery he flew.

Take my coffee with sugar, teaspoon and a bit.
Have tea with no sugar at all, cos I'm a funny *****.
Don't eat very often, although I love my food.
Work  much too much.
Must be cos I love it.

Live in dress of royalish blue.
Which comes off as I hit my bed
Enjoying life only way that I know how.
With my pen in hand.
Me,myself and I are very rarely rude.
My persona unraveled, so now you read me ****.
