Untitled
Daffari Utami Mar 2023
We can pair with docs, and throwing rocks
Marlboro red, white sheets on the bed
Listening to Alex Turner, while having back burner
On tomorrow, pausing for some sorrow

to the soul who shattered
Daffari Utami Jun 2020
To the soul who shattered
I see your heart on the corner of a dark room
With shadow around, recite a prayer
She doesn’t cry yet she throws a little smile
Her hands with a book that she cannot read
Pale illusion over her
Singing a song that cannot be heard
she said it’s not the melody shall be blamed
it’s just she is bad at envisaging
this poem picture a girl who keep blaming herself for bad things around her even though it's not her to blame but people are ****

were you
Daffari Utami Apr 2020
You were sitting alone while humming to the howl of a fire, that burned a single bar of cinnamon
You were eating a paper, that scathed by the tortuosity of a man, with his boredom
You were trying to fill a void, meddling the matter of the laic
Were you, dead before the words have been spoken?

Beauty
Daffari Utami Apr 2019
how was beauty created?
was it by the eyes, or just slight of sounds
no music, just laugh
in clamorous of a horizon
i stared at the symphony that recite him
sequence of the notes that keeps his steps
oh darling, he was like a dream
that stabbed by a sword
at dawn, on a white sand

The Sky
Daffari Utami Apr 2019
Evening at five, the sky was coming at me
With his crimson eyes, and violet skin
I told him that the ground keep betraying me
He didn’t let me dance for even a night
So the sky told me to go inside, and wait till night

It was getting darker outside, so i went out to see the sky for once again
I put my head up, and saw dozen of stars were falling to me
The wind kept striking my skin and brushing my hair
I was touched so i told the sky that the ground didn’t want me anymore
The sky said that, crawl and climb to a tree and jump, i will catch you so you won’t be on the ground again

So i did
I’m no longer at the ground
I’m in the up up sky, very high and never comeback
