When human hearts come to collide
The flaws of each are hard to hide.
And harder still each passing day
Till every block is thrown away.
We come to fear this truth so much,
That we flee the slightest nudge, the faintest touch.

Thou our fears may be plain and true.
You could hurt me; I could hurt you.
We tend to only see the person standing there.
The color of their eyes, their clothes, their hair.
We see the flaws: both on the in and out,
And some times our own merits do we doubt.

Yet this approach leaves out a vital part.
One we didn't finish, and one we didn't start.
It has to do with one mans death upon a cross.
Who couldn't bring us in without so great a loss
And rose again to name us all His own
And will have through our broken lives His glory shown.

So fear not when heart collisions come!
They're founded now, soley on what Christ has done!

Come to my garden where all are free..
No one judges from what you see..
Come to my garden where all can live..
Never Judged and always forgived..
Come to my garden no matter who you are..
Race and creed are never a part..
Come to my garden and take a taste..
Where life and dreams are never a waste
Come to my garden and sit and share..
Your lifes ambitions where people care..
Come to my garden where there's only love..
From a place in life that comes from above..

if the stars fell from the sky,I'd stuff them in my pocket
in hopes that you'd take them, in place of my heart.
'cause i left at the bottom, of an old empty bottle.
but it seems to me you've found it and convinced it to restart.
oh my darling, what has happened here?
I don't feel like I'm living whenever you're not near me.
I'd hate to think I need you, but that seems to be the case.
So please do me a favor and never leave this place.

today I'm in love, and I must say I'm terrified,
but I won't let it get me when I've got you by my side.
The stars in yours eyes and the glimmer in your smile,
make the fear worth enduring even if just for a while.
Oh my darling, that smiles what I strive for.
To be the one who brings it, I couldn't ask for more.
you've latched onto my hand and together we'll go,
anywhere but here to pass the time.

we've escaped all the pressure, the fear, and self loathing,
by loving each other and we'll keep on going.
With little to say and so much to lose,
we carry our hearts on a chain.
Oh my darling, let's keep on singing,
you'll be the words and I'll be the feeling.
ours is the song I hear all around me,
so **** the ones who said this love was crazy.

A surface gleams its slick ripples,
Solid liquid covering varied depths,
Frigid water held strong to the reflection of sky.
Held steady in gray by overcasts,
That hide the blemishes on this day.
Crack a warning, glints of sarcasm pierce the eye.

Somewhere below live antique creatures,
Demons of yesterday encapsulated.
Slow with slime and cold with sleep,
They dream of spring, dream of a thaw.
When sunshine blasts the sound of life,
Screams an alarm none dare not keep.

The slow shift strains patience,
Green bubbles from woody mottled arms.
Here and there come the arthropods,
Beginning their feast upon new bounty.
Finding themselves delicacies to another,
The flying predator of the mighty worms.

Singing sweet songs that bring dismay,
From April to June sometimes beyond.
Summer arrives in time to sear,
Tears from this repressed eyesight,
The cold winter from the dark water,
Which breed parasites unknowingly to pester.

Teasing sanity of forest dwelling fauna,
To fester in the skin as a tick or leech.
Drawing life out into the open plane,
Whittling down strength for another day
As we lay out the bitter harvest,
As we find another season of complaint.

Forgive and forgo, but never forget
Because in due time, like begets like.
Chaos begets chaos, and
Sorrow begets sorrow,
Hate begets hate, and
Boredom begets boredom, but
most of all - and most poignantly -
Love begets Love.

So in spirit of that credo,
I forgive you. I forgive you
For all you've done.
There's nothing to be done for it.
It's as the law states, and
So in your life will spawn more
Chaos breeding chaos, and
Sorrow breeding sorrow, and
Hate breeding hate, but
Since, through it all,
I still can forgive, but,
More importantly, Love you,
Love will breed and bring more Love to me.

And for that, I am content to know
That I can forgive you,
Because you've been through the Hell of your own Creation enough,
Without help from me.

I would rather sit and write,
I would rather study all night,
I would rather drink and fight.
But duty calls me.
I like my job- but I don't feel like working today.

It tricks and it treats,
It hides and it seeks,
Lies awake and asleep,
But never does it cheat,
It plays foul and plays fair,
It is always aware,
Contradicting your head,
Without it you are dead,
It's there from the start,
It is, in fact, your Heart

Tears
and rain,
sit upon
my eyelashes.
One shows my pain, one washes it away.

The grey clouds are one with my breaking heart.
Shedding their pain
in tune with
my souls
cry

To
accept
that Grandma
is leaving me,
is easier to say than to live through.

Each slowing beat of her heart pierces me.
My second mom,
my best friend,
dying
now.

Her
grace and
wisdom will
stay with me still.
I am, today, the woman she molded.

Touching so many, giving of herself.
Angel on earth,
soon to be
going
home.
This is written in the poetic form of "Tetractys"  The scheme is a syllable count of 1,2,3,4,10...then reverse the count 10,4,3,2,1 and so on
