If life could be more simple,
Maybe my heart wouldn't be so brittle,
If happiness didn't come with a cost,
Maybe I wouldn't always be so lost,
               And if dreams didn't exist,
Maybe life wouldn't be so hard to resist.

Aimée
They looked at me & saw too little,
Because I spoke with silence, not with sound,
They thought me weak, a quiet riddle,
But never saw the strength I'd found.
They whispered why I walked the room,
Gave sideways glances, crooked grins,
As if their noise could drown my bloom,
As if their pride erased my wins.
They called me less & laughed with ease,
Because I didn't fit their mold,
But I'm the calm within the breeze,
The ember that survives the cold.
I don't wear masks, don't chase their race,
I move with care, not false delight,
They mock the softness on my face,
But I was never made to fight
The way they do with egos blade,
I fight with truth, with heart, with grace.
I've been the scapegoat, overlooked
The girl they tried to twist & bend,
But every bruise they ever cooked,
Just made me truer in the end.
So let them talk & roll their eyes,
Let them brag and laugh and glare,
I'll stand beneath the judgement skies,
Still me, still rising, still rare.
I have flown here
to whisper sweet words
from beyond

the silent voice
blinded by love
and the fluttering of wings

her voice soft and sweet
reciting prose and verse
from old stories of lore

veiled in this mist of heartbreak
no longer yearning for the light
the bells toll, loud and deep into the night

years before, bone and blood
waiting for the false promises of spring
now the seasons just sad recollections

time to leave
fly back among the stars
and fade away

Erenn
In quiet waters, lilies bloom,
Soft as silk, yet filled with gloom.
Their petals bright, a moonlit crest,
A whispered tale of hearts undressed

They rise from depths so dark, so deep,
Yet stand with grace, no need to weep.
Their fragrance lingers, light yet strong,
A melody both fierce and long

Like women through the trials past,
They bend but never break their mast.
Through storms and sun, they bloom anew,
Their strength unseen, but always true

Each petal holds a tale untold,
Of love, of loss, of dreams grown old.
Yet in their veins, the light remains,
A beauty born from joy and pain

So let the lilies teach the world,
Of softness, steel, and dreams unfurled.
For in their grace, a truth we see—
Women bloom in dignity

Do not believe

so much in others

that you no longer

believe in yourself
connection begins,
where fear ends.
don't be afraid to put your creativity out there!
I don’t cry anymore
the salt ran dry.
I don’t look up
the sky stopped looking back.
I don’t believe
in believing.

Where are you now,
God of broken pages?
That book
full of thunder,
full of fire,
full of once.

Where are the miracles
when we need them
more than ever?
Silence
—louder than prayer.

You’ve
forsaken me
in my heart,
forsaken me
in my mind,
forsaken me
in my...

Why?
