We stretched out our wings,
Soaring remarkably high,
But then you tumbled down,
Because you kept wondering why,

Then when you finally crash landed,
I fixed your broken wing,
With hugs, kisses and duct tape,
Soothing your wounds so they didn't sting.

He snarls his hate righteously,
Leaving Cancer causing chemicals in the air,

And you digest the deceit from his poisonous tongue,
As his lies tangle in your hair.

I'm so grateful,
For the place I call home,
With the friends I will cherish,
and a room to call my own.

For the arguments we've had,
Then the calm after the storm,
For the apologies we muttered,
When a brand new love was born.

For the rain that used to patter,
Leaking on our windowsill,
For all the laughter and the chatter,
Knowing life could only go up hill.

The lurgy man came,

And he infected your brain.

Now there's only a pinch,

Of personality left.

You gave me a friendship bracelet,
And I didn't quite know what to do.
So I just put it on my wrist,
Then wore it everyday for you.

Your laughter is contagious,
Much like a yawn,
That we barely ever do,
Because when we're together there's a storm.

You're going to university soon,
But we'll always keep in touch,
And I'll let you know in every way,
That I miss you very much.

Remember that time I slept round your house,
And let out that enormous ****?
Yeah, That never fails to amuse me,
Just like you'll always be in my heart.

The Black Beast
How sad a world would be
If we had one second chance
Fail twice and that would mean
No way to now advance

Come in once late to work
And now your warning is acquired
Turn up late again and well
Pack up your things, you're fired

Miss that book deal deadline twice
Time to find a new career
After every small mistake
You would live in constant fear

But as I sit and ponder
How sad this life would be
I can't stop thinking of the pain
That you have caused to me

The seventh time you broke my heart
The hundredth time you lied
In a world of second chances
I could push you to the side

In a world of second chances
We'd be forced to stay apart
And now you could no longer toy
With my damaged broken heart

A world of second chances
Would spare me all this pain
But I guess I'll give you another shot
For you to break my heart again.

It wasn't their fault at all,
They were used, A plaything to be discarded later.

Four days is all is took,
Four ******* days to find someone new.
This heartless *****, have you heard her laugh?
It's like a bullet through an open wound.

Of course this was bound to happen,
These types of people never change.
Breaking their heart was her work of art,
And the on-lookers made her stage.

A mess she made my friend,
Who was super glued together by hope and lies.
Their calloused fingers couldn't feel out the beauty from betrayal,
So they were stuck dumb and blind.

The puppeteer grew bored,
As she drowned her victim in blood,
And you can say whatever you want,
But that definitely wasn't love.
