bones buzzards leave heard room turns cats sausage thing sucked dry marrow breathes ice whispers felt warmest hearth chill twines settles neck choking writhes vertebrae imbeds spine drags engorged belly threadbare carpets rest head wet kindling frigid nights props open mouth stale loaves bread waits gnaws nubs bleeding nails amputates fingers teeth flat yellow maw cauterizes wounds frostbite will visit bed seeping sheets stealing face recognize swallowed stuck craw sore throat laryngitis cough pain stays scraping esophagus bloody tonic taste medicine choke hoarse call stuffed ears cotton candy lie sweet fleeting substance hollow break easy promise devoured soul slanted cover table fading distancing sunday smiled scoured smeared shades skin living grin dining day sunset light social scars cross packed bear hellish bid brain smallest socks reason season wander eyes kids suicidal flawed system minds highschool early awake blank shitload teens horny population
