Pizza Lovin'
Four blocks down, A man who never gives the same name Stands every day selling condoms With Tiger’s face telling us to “Protect Our Wood”, And next to him is the vendor where I just bought my new favorite scarf. His name is Lorenzo. He’s 6 foot 4, Old school Italian, and after two months I’ve yet to see him wear the same shoes twice. Natalie played softball in high school. She now owns a hot dog stand just outside That I’ve seen fifty people wait in line for. After a heartfelt conversation we had On a certain rainy Thursday morning, Natalie now throws me a free Polish sausage with peppers Once in a while when I open my second story window. She hasn’t missed once. My one neighbor is a Latina grandmother named Sofia. She brought her kids here illegally, And they’ve since used their success To cut all ties to dear old Mexico And to her. I eat with her once a week, And we share cooking recipes And small tales about life BNY (Before New York). There’s a homeless man downtown Whose sign says “A quarter a day Keeps my teeth off your leg”, And ever since he’s proven it to me I’ve dropped fifty cents a day, Hoping for extra protection. When my friends from college come to visit, They were all curious about Lorenzo’s shoes And Natalie’s pitching arm And when Sofia’s daughter would show up (Tyler had a thing for hispanic girls). I never tried to explain, because I never felt the need to know the answer myself. All I cared about were Natalie’s smile, Sofia’s homemade tortilla chips, And how a guy like Lorenzo ended up in New York City selling scarves.

Ladies, ladies, ladies, in all shapes and sizes. Some like no other in malesque disguises. There's more if you know where to look down below. From a soft, sausage snake, long and hard, you can make. Poetry by Kaydee.

PIZZA vs. SUSHI Breaking off course:
I'm craving for food, maybe some eggs or waffles. Maybe a bacon on the side and a sausage. A huge pancake with a lot of syrup, strawberries and bananas on the top. A piece of bread with ham and cheese inside of it. A side of fruits of different kinds , chocolate or an apple pie. A big glass of juice, it could be orange or cranberry. The cup of coffee... Oh, I want a cup of coffee. I want something that makes me feel better in this cold and hungry morning. Why not everything mixed? Why not make a big breakfast buffet? Scrambled eggs, waffles with bacon, pancakes, the sweet syrup, some delicious strawberries and bananas as a topping, a mini sandwich, fruits with chocolate and another dessert. The glass of juice for the end, the lovely cup of coffee to begin. I want to do a breakfast party, I'm starving.

Breakfast?
Duck Dynasty has been replaced by the folks at “A” & “E”. we’re “GLAAD” to hear they lost their spot to Zeus and company. It’s felt the morals of Zeus ‘clan Reflect the zeitgeist better. Zeus is fond of little boys, Swans, and shapely heifers. Hera, his wife, of all her kids, loves Artemis the most. Apollo and Athena Leave no room for the “Holy ghost” Dionysus will do well while hawking wine and beer. Though Polyphemus freaks me out Fans say he is a dear. So tune in for the Sausage fest And watch the hunt for ****** The role of Ganymede has been cast- He’s played by Justin Bieber.

Zeus and Company
Big black sausage, she can not get enough, Soft moans leave her lips when I do her rough. Always a smile when she drinks my white milk, Beautiful girl with skin as soft as silk.

Recovered Fragments: Tampered Papyrus 71
Hurry now, it’s leaving soon Car door slams, gravel underfoot And from the boot Grandmas lil helper is lifted Oh! Where did it go? Wind twists scarf to snake Released from frames captivity I stoop and tug Under your foot, Gran She shuffles, Ties it firmly around tiny shoulders Bright colour against delicate skin Paper thin, both, One for beauty, one to hold the blood in And may it hold the blood in, Just a little longer... The train awaits, Monstrous, Steele stark against surrounding bush. Matt has a sausage, Mum bothers about tickets, Both fuss and fizzle, I press lips firmly together Deciding then and there Never to let entertainment turn to stress; It’s more than it’s worth. We’re to be in the engine room, The rest will be left behind - As something faulty. Matt lifts Gran up; She’s tiny, She’s flying, She’s in. And then we’re all in. Crammed. We stare longingly through grimy glass At empty carriages Can’t we be in there? It’s all a bit stuffy. There’s a fire along the track But we don’t go any further. The smoke streams out over forest. And jerking and bumping, Dipping along, We reverse back to whence we started. Petrol fumes and smoke fill our tiny cocoon Here, let me help you Passenger to passenger, Fellow human, Compassionate eyes. Gran has a seat; She sways while we lurch. Deep within Railroad country I make believe I know something Of the girl Of the Plannies; That sacred connection To land and sky, To Native country, To Golden Macrocarpa I stare over hills of tree ferns, Kawakawa, Wheki, Punga And, knowing no other, I feel this land Majestically My own.

Men ‘love’ with their Muscles  Women with their hearts This leads to some confusion When sharing body parts! When ***** asks ****** “Are you coming out to play?” She wants some kind of guarantee He’ll not just ****** then run away!  When he presents his love stick Pretty it is not! So, if a girl accepts it She must like you a lot!  So tidy up your quiver bone Keep your flesh tower fresh Spice up your wee sausage She’ll sort out the rest!

I know from my past, gym class From locker rooms, I learned fast That lots of guys have winners But my sausage is from Vienna. I got a little bump, a tiny little lump, Like a hamster has taken a dump. Nothing bulges my shorts at the crotch. Not much there for anyone to watch. But our society puts the emphasis On just how big your business is. If you have a tiny peter, my friend Many kinds of applause will end. Go read the writing on the walls, Because you will inherit the catcalls And no matter how much you moan They come through no fault of your own. Regarded as less than a man; sick Or perverted to have a small **** As too often I have been told Since as a kid and not very old Amid laughter and cruel jests I have learned a big **** is best. No matter it’s something I can’t change, Apparently a small ***** is strange. In time I left behind those taunts As I left behind adolescent haunts. The pain has become only a taint; The scars of bullies with no restraint, But I am sure I never will fully be Free of their thoughtless bigotry As I reach the age of an old codger Dealing with life with a not so jolly roger.

***** ENVY
Empty skies embrace Sparse cloud formations The blues fade and overlapped hues Sparkles crested in fickle delight Lazy outstretched yawns of natural light Sun’s glare glazed under Moon’s appearance Embossed against the translucence of blue space Everything up there is calm today No rush or race or interference Gentle indifference drifts to the West. Staying dry for us The beautiful simplicity of being Sky. Stop and look around. Cyclists trickle on painted pathways Student groups pontificate about life and the lecture they should all be at, Lunchtime sprawls and ********** never ending spurts of schoolchildren delirious for sausage rolls and E numbers. Everyone in a rush to be someone Going somewhere with purpose, and yet, Be indifferent to each other. The bland complexity of being modern People.

Sky / People
It creeps up on me. The sneaking suspicion that I'm stuck in it. My hair is falling in my face. Only a year ago... I built everything — it was so clear. Even though — it was chaos. People were worried. But it was simple. It was as simple as simmering sausage in a saucepan, sweating in a brick kitchen, listening to Sade, and thinking of rooftops. Things are more grounded now. People are less worried. The kitchen is smaller, and shared. I turn down Sade when someone enters. I'm still sweating, but it's because something is wrong with the heating system. I long to take an anonymous walk between buildings. There are only neighborhoods and shopping centers here. And I keep running into people who know me. It's either too cold or too hot — It's never summer every day. Everything that was hanging on my walls is on the floor. Precious paintings and prints dusting with potential. I reveal myself less to strangers. I don't take public transportation. It's disconcerting how comfortable having a vehicle is. I feel urged to uproot, swinging in someone else's hands, but feel like.. I'm interrupting. Can't I just arrive for awhile? My safety net is too big and my home is too small. But if I abandon it, I'll wonder if I'm bound to be restless.

Moving to the suburbs
How will we progress today? Will we risk life attending Mosque, Or have an affair with our spouse's boss? Will we take the dog out for a walk, Step on a landmine, use plastic straws? Perhaps we'll play with our kids today, Or call Amber Alert, wait scared, and pray? Will we defy authority with a righteous tone, Or leave our tail tucked, like a dog with his bone? Will we gauge goods today for our Vegan menu, Or show a distention as millions today do? Will we drive around town for cheaper gas, Or choose our pickings from picked-over trash? Do you sling eggs and sausage for sub-minimum wages, Or attend a visitation in a tortured MADD rage? Will you tee off at eight, or do a spin class, Or sit solitary watching the hourglass? Did we place our script at the shiny drugstore, Or wade across water to Jordan's fair shore? Will we question the teacher at our kid's school, Or play Avatar falling off our bar stool? Did you set a reminder on your AI phone For chicken delivery to your suburban home? Will you lift copper tubing from construction sites, Proclaiming your station in life gives you right? Do I recline in my La-Z-Boy for a nap with a book, Or teach someone to live with a line and a hook? Will you take out your family, Are you last on your list, Will you reciprocate a handshake Or raise a gloved fist? Our words can't bind all our wounds, Few are born with silver spoons, We're not wrapped in silk cocoons. A metamorphosis is coming To this world of gloom, A rousing group flight, And it can't come too soon.

**** SAUSAGE!
If only you’d done the washing up I wouldn’t be slamming plates into the sink Half sobbing Half seething Stubbornly burning my hands on water that’s too hot Angrily scrubbing at three day old tomato sauce And bits of chips and jumbo sausage that have welded themselves to the plate If only you’d done the washing up We could have *** later But we can’t now Because I’ll be too tired and bitter after doing the washing up Again Do you think I like washing up? Don’t you think I’d rather be sitting on the sofa Watching crap on the telly Safe in the knowledge that the sink is empty The plughole is clean And the worktops are sparkling I bet Beyonce doesn’t have to do the washing up I bet she has a dishwasher If only you’d done the washing up You wouldn’t need to call me childish For getting worked up over something as silly as the washing up And I wouldn’t be standing here wondering If you’ll ever really get it “It’s only the washing up” you say Exactly So just ****** well do it next time ********

If only you'd done the washing up
Stars, brilliant, yellow and white, they pierce the total black dome arching over the trees. Campfires spew sparks, dragons fly and jump to meet the stars, Miniature electric lights; a spritely accent around the RVs. Night choristers, peeping, honking voices dispelled by dawn Morning light creeps up Dew Dripped, rivulets ran down the side of the tent Campfires, lit anew Pancakes, sausage, oatmeal. Noon the heat of the sun bakes the ground, dew dispelled.

The hot dog man
Sat on the sidewalk. A sandwich board conveyed a message, it was penned in his blood. The darkest dog's sat between his legs. Crouching reluctantly at his sad master's side. So many people passed him by. Not one single soul  ever met his eye. And so she came, parked herself on the pavement, his pavement. She smiled at him, stroked his dog, whose hue instantly became amended. His  darkest dog wore a coat of gold, donated by affection. She wanted not a lover,   and he was grateful for a friend. Nobody ever gave him the time of day. She made him sparkle, by sharing hers. Fresh hot coffee flowed from his mug. Well a heat protected paper cup. She gave him chocolate and a hot sausage roll. The woman with the caring streak and that Godforsaken *** Her actions made him whole. (c) Livvi

I know they're out there somewhere Watching, cringing, when they see those who don't know just what to pick out When they go out in their clothes I cannot list the culprits And we all know fashion crime Like, pants that show the *** crack We see this all the time It used to be a faux pas When one made a clothes mistake But now you see them daily With every look you take With all the shows on tv Showing people how to dress Why do they go out looking Like such a rotten, bleeding mess? Stripes and spots and solids Wearing braces AND a belt Wearing parkas in hot weather You'd think that they would melt Socks worn with one's sandals And those pants around the knees I mean, someone, help these people someone help them please We need some clothes policing Maybe a hot line they could phone Maybe send the cops a photo Before they choose to leave their home There are people wearing spandex People who aren't really thin think of squeezing ten pounds of sausage In a five pound sausage skin And makeup...yes, the makeup Someone needs to teach them how to apply it, in moderation We need some clothes policing now! There are rules and there are guidelines But common sense should reign supreme It looks like these poor people got dressed while in a dream We need fashion policing So we can all walk, showing class Instead of being like these morons Who wear big jeans, and show their ***

Fashion Police
You aren't big **** 'till you're on a stick, not even legitimate like gator, hotdogs, sausage and chicken. A stick gets your mouth waterin' and your tongue lickin' you can get your veggies on a shish-kabob and cotton candy handed to you at any sport or circus, we even got religious services about servin' this person on a stick! Wanna be famous? Get your wish and put somethin' on a stick-- the get rich quick types stick 'em up their *** while the rest of us gather at fairs and carnivals to mindlessly laugh at jugglers, clowns and ride circular rides. All the while snackin' on somethin' on a stick.
