Dec 2019
I sat watching the tree
with his hand on my knee
remembering the night before
and how he made me a ***** *****

I was too young to know
that I’d given him a show
so, Christmas Eve, he stole
every ounce of my soul

He thought it was okay
for every year he tried to play
with my emotions again
performing the gravest sin

My cousin made me hate
Christmas and all it creates
it’s like milk gone sour
when he left me in my darkest hour
