Late city lights look like
"glitter sprinkled on the floor"
of the bedroom
in a house
I'm 15
and no one's parents are home.

In the car of a friend
I'm in the back seat
beside a couple who has long since lost something.
Someone says "sorry"
and they kiss like wolves.
