I had a haircut, I read it cuts off feelings.
I forced myself to smile, my mama said it heals it.

I met some people who I’ve never ever met ,
My friends ensured me it has to help.

I started drinking stronger liquor,
Tequila was the best, it worked the quickest.

Some time has passed, I thought I am feeling better,
I have moved on and I became independent.

My under eyes stopped needing so much make-up,
And I thought to myself: f*ck, yes! I made it.

Until a day that I received a text:
“New haircut looks great, I need you back.”

A very long one minute later I replied:
“I’ve never left.”
