It starts with a hello
Pretend you have a little halo
And it's bright and yellow
"Are you Asian?"
"Yes."
No, not her skin color
But your halo

Then politely
Ask for her name
"How tall are you?"
That would be 4'9
No! Her name.

You talked
She listened.

She spoke
Her audience lessened.

You laughed.
While she cried.

You said Goodbye.
Finally,
A smile.
I'm not a race. I have a name. No number can measure me.

"You've got opinions we're all entitled to them, but I never asked
So let me thank you for your time, and try not to waste anymore of mine and get out of here fast."
