A lady watches the lonely moon.
marvelling at at its glory.
she sighs and looks distraught

A baby is born very soon.
breaking the evening silence.
a wolf howls long and proud.

A knife's edge and a painful cry.
flashes in my mindful eye.
A cry for help. a plea for mercy.
I stand there and watch.
Yet im miles away.

Staining hells depth....

the mountain stands.
so tall and high.
silhouetted by the morning sky.
children laugh.
children play.
travellers go on their way.
clouds gather at its peak .
golden treasure is what they seek.
as it moves at the dawn.
