He was robbed in black,
the curse of satan,
the shadow of a gheastly spirit,
the villain of birds' tales,
the melancholy tiddy to be forgotten,
the tragic scene in the street,
the rubbles of houses.
Ted brought him forth, out of prison,
wove his life in words,
a charismatic character,
a souvenir, a holy chapter,
and he got immortality stuff.

bright sky
from a black and dark earth.
Sculpted, smooth, cylindrical.
A simple layered texture.
I wrote down adjectives that described a sculpture and I added a couple of other words. This was the outcome.

When he saw her
for the first time
did he know
that he would break her heart?

Did he know
that the beautiful brightness
in her eyes,
that drew him to her,
would slowly dwindle,
fade?

As the lies grew,
the light died.
He really didn't
give her a chance.

Did he know?
