Above our heads, snowly slowly floated to the ground
Pitter patter like creamy batter it sat with a sticky sound
Through the day I'd stand and gaze at this gift
Soaking the silence like a Zeppelin riff
Pound by pound the snow would come with not a bound
Journeying far to its brethren fellows all around

Acting as a caterpillar
Snowly would float like a distiller
Evolving from a great fractalized city
Till it landed and became but one bitty witty
Snowly may not be the greatest thriller
Though it's clear it is the chillest painkiller

i         am        rare                arrogance        brilliantly
caked in sinuous batter inexorably fluid taught
grime, as the invited breath  of salt pillars in my
nostrils. like god, like christ's woefully placarded
woody drizzled body  the autumn is also every sign
of poesy and the imminent closure of flaming stodgy
existence
his season is waiting at the fore. ready to mass swiftly
white exuberance snowly at the behest of gray freckled heavens
long and talking paleness, in tiniest majority, flakes

flakes abounding footing the asphalt gardens and the naked
arbor flesh by the lakes. by the lakes
says some trees, "we are and justly so shall be, for a time longer than
thou who are more temporary than we. like grass, wither succulently
afore the mounding **** of time; eroding assuredly thy pink
sack of viscous organisms in unnoticeable obvious certainty."
and they said so, the trees, they said life
and i said
i said "axe"

Unspoken words drift snowly white
Ashes from this Vesuvian relationship
First they blanket, then they catch fire,
As she slips away from the embalmed desire.
My diabetes numbers are better
A little gratitude
The medicine must be working
Forward slowly, slowly

I don't go to Mass anymore
But I still love Father Greeley
Erin Go Bragh!
Chicago snowly, snowly
