Times will shift from bad to good.
Humanity always knew they would.
“Things look dark and grim,” they'd say.
Though they'd always turn the other way.
The beauty of darkness shows in the light.
Only knowledge of wrong can demonstrate right.
Impermanence fosters the soul of being.
And sharpens the eyes of the world for seeing.

Beginning at the very end,
My life takes a sudden bend.
Tells me it has a secret box, hidden somewhere inside my socks.

To find it i need faith,
and all the hope i have on bate.

I gather whats left of hope.
and tie it with a thick round rope.
making sure of all the lose ends,
nothing on doubt depends.

The thick layer of dust lifts up its head.
to show me positivity sleeping on the bed.
I wake it up and ask his help,
To help me secure my futures belt.

Its looks at me with sleepy eyes,
and asks me why i let all the hope die?
"Now hope will need all the food,
And lock negetivity in the atic to brood.
Only then can I help you make whats left,
And shine the future bright, full of zest."

I coax and cajol postivity with words,
which tickles up the drooping thirst.
Thirst to live life to its fullest
and look at the glass at its fullest
And hope and pray and dance with chardonnay,
Cheering life ahead all the way!

Refference to the "Glass half full theory."

The boss at christmas is named John
He runs a church festival on the church lawn
His staff doesn't know the difference
What? They ******* refference?
Between a platter and a plate
And I don't know what the hell I ate?
One Shishkabob and rice
Ain't that nice
Humus was so gross
From your heads to your toes
Taboule is suppose to be some kind of salad
Won't someone make this into a ballad?
Overpricing
and that's the icing!
Belly dancing
And people prancing
A band and A DJ
and that's okay!
What else more can I say?
After all these years he's still cheap
Leave a message after the beep!
The Boss at Christmas was written in the 80's and made American Poetry Anthology book in 1984 Fall/Winter vol 3 book 3+4 page 412 About a cheap boss that didn't want to buy his wife a present on Christmas now he runs a church festival Are you kidding me So it deserved a sequel many years later lol!
