His warmth seems to come through.
It shows in all his videos.
Where you'll find the coolest Temptations wearing a smile?

His false falestta hid his tenor tones.
But in the songs his voice made them rings.
Whether it was Paul Williams or David Ruffin singing.

Even when he was out front you reconized the man.
Eddie Kendricks smile was front and center.
It's part of his personality you'll remember.

From Why You Wanna Make Me Blue?
All the way to Just My Imagination too.
You felt the sincerity with each song.

Even during his solo years.
You still felt a connection to him.
From Honey Brown to Keep On Truckin'.
You realize his importance.

Berry Gordy founded Motown that's true.
Except Eddie Kendricks contribution help it to grow.
This a lot of fans show recognized and know.
It just wasn't Smokey.
Even those he help everybody's along.

Once upon a time
In a faraway land lived
a miserable girl

Nothing was ever good
enough for her , she always
wanted more and more

Lets just say bigger
and better seemed more tidy
Clean and Glorious

''Twas a rainy day
She walked into a forest
Where darkness blossomed

No light through the trees
Only bottom trunks of trees
seemed to pass her eye

She became scared in
the darkness , howling noises
seeped through her soft ears

Her mind became a
circus , elephant shadows
danced with a cold breeze

Together twirling
frantically until the rain
pelted down on earths ground

Tis then in distance
she saw twinkly light , her
eyes summed up diamonds

Even in her darkest
hour her greed took over
her genuine side

She ran towards the
light and was disappointed
The moon danced with pond

Ha ha spoke a voice
My dear girl it's time you changed
Love is awaiting

Follow the darkness
And when you reach a river
You will see a boat

The girl looked angry
She continue to follow
the darkness with mood

It was only when
she saw the boat that she smiled
It was full of stars

Each one so shiny
her heart bloomed a garden of
award winning blooms

Each star contained a
memory , her ancestors
spoke with such wisdom

Ah young girl you must
now live your life with love in
your greedy red heart

Otherwise you will
be banish to live alone
forever in dark

Where demons will haunt
you even when you sleep on
white cotton pillow

You must love insects
And humans and the sun and
moon as well as you

Stop hating yourself
Let go of your yesterday's
And live happily

The girl got into
the boat and sailed down the big
flowing brown river

Fishes jumped up
in the air over her head
Singing songs of love

A cloud in distance
Dispersed in millions bits
Butterflies fluttered

She shyly stepped on
land into a meadow of
sweet dandelions

She saw fluffy sheep
And a sky of flying crows
Surround a scarecrow

Tis then she knew her
life would be very different
She walked towards the

scarecrow who was dressed
in old rags and stuffed with straw
and wore an old hat

She reconized the
hat to be that of her late
father , a tear fell

upon her soft cheek
and for the first time ever
She grieved for her dad

Everyone glanced at her as if she were debris
Residue, that would never go away
Determined to go to an association but other mentality doubts
Her mother always told her "They don't care about how much you know until they know how much you care."
But the girl never achnoledged her mother
The girl thought her heart was unclean
Every moment was nonexistent
As if nothing was happening at all...
Her life had turned around, once acceptable to imperceptible
Pessimistic was she, as the world defyed her
Air was thick like wood as she held the last thing influential to her.
She swallowed the multitude of tablets all at once, trying to ignore the ****** taste
As she layed down and reflected her whole life
Happiness, tragedy, faith, expectations, achievement, ambition....
Lost in a nameless sea of faces, she exhaled her last breath in a silent scream
The world never knew her, not even her name
Despite her appearance or world of shame
Youth 're reconized her after her pass
Everyone gathered even her oppressors
Grief sorrow and misery were current
Her mother was right
Everyone cared because they knew....
